with mine at lvl 18 i tend to keep "pushing him up" until he's right behind someone then hit the overtake button.
standard driver skill level is about 3/4 in agressive, i guess thats why he performs well under pressure...simetimes though lol
the most annoying thing i found in b-spec is when after reaching 2nd place he goes offtrack and drops to last when getting back on track. why does he always have to wait until everyone else passes by?? thats freaking annoying lol

i don't get it why DP and Logitech havent lined this up already.
If they had the trouble coding those cool rev lights on the G27, why not coding the ffb also?
@ CoolColJ: where's the H gate shifter on that T500RS? and how much does it cost?
Formula GT races almost fried my G27, specially at Monaco...
is there a way to effectively lower FFB for other wheels rather than the "GT" ones in this game? I set FFB to 1 and it's still hard as hell! ffs, i could almost fry an egg with my wheel lol, and i swear i felt some burning smell coming out of it...had to switch to gamepad for a while before it got on fire! im laughing now but i didn't back then...
i wish logitech would have a built in system like the fanatec one where u can manually set the ffb...
Another -1 point...that bloody car is not sellable...its hard to get 15M

Im having some dificulties with photomode...does anybody care to explain?
Im my case i have a G27 connected which doesnt let me work with hand device (dont remember the word for the dual shock thingy lol), watching a replay and selected photomode but i cant move the camera nor play with it, zooming etc etc...

progress report Scavier?
I understand the delay due to the seek of perfection, but what's the point of having super realistic tyre behaviour when many other things haven't been introduced yet? Other things that also interfere with real life racing like weather and night racing. There's also brake failure due to heat, oil leaks, turbos damaged, clutch wear, non simulated engine sounds and the likes.
I truly understand that this part of development needs time for research and so on but I also think that some effort could already have been put into other important things as well.
I'm not saying Scavier should do this or that, it's their game and i respect that, but I think LFS is letting other titles get the medals while we crawl on the shadow...
Anyways, not wanting to be read as a moaner, which I'm not, I'll finish this words with a big thank you for your hard work knowing that some of my wishes will become real in a near future!

the devs wanted to make us a surprise but hey, theres always a friend around the corner to tell u all about that surprise! :P

that works with me. All my setups have the track name so i can easily identify them and use them. For example, in fern bay black reverse, i have it named "FEB Rev".
Even if it is for a long named track such as south city long or south city town course, i use "SOL" and "SOTC" respectively. It also works for "KYN" (Kyoto National) or "KYGP" (Kyoto GrandPrix).
Adding to that i usually put a WRZ or WRY so i know which is the fastest and in what version i performed the best lap time. WR stands for world record for me to know i can make a really fast laptime, and Y or Z to version in which i performed that really fast laptime.

I think it would be nice to have some sort of profile saving.
I just had to copy all my files from Z25 folder to Z28 one, could this be avoided in the future with a profile import feature or something?
Another thing i think should be nice would be a gfx configurator. It would run a few tests to figure out what the best graphic config would be best suited for your PC. Or maybe having an option list to let you chose which config you want to use. Like "best performance" or "best quality".

wanna have some fun with proper racing? buy S2 and join a S2 server!
Demo servers are full of wreckless drivers who want nothing more than destroy others races. they usually know nothing about racing rules nor have fair play nor respect for their fellow racers!
All u gotta do is buy the damn license and join either FOX Junkies, Red Line or LR Race Centre. Only FBM?? Try the new XCite server! You'll find some good and respectful racing there!

It looks to me somebody was driving ilegal mod cars no? couldn't this be a cause?
Simply put, this is a racing simulator, not a "just for the fun" racing game. Period.

Thats why there are so many crashes, you have the wrong buttons assigned thus you dont get to see who's racing next to you...
Now i understand the panic at T1!
I always drive with H-pattern shifter and assigned the right side red button on the shifter unit as handbrake and I can easily reach it with my middle finger and sometimes with my thumb!
Patch W? The X patch was when FBM was introduced i guess...or was it Y?
