I would like to make a new improved version, but there seems to be a problem with the lyte editor and the latest release of lfs version...
Tyres and different barriers don't show up ingame:

Did anyone else experienced this problem?

I placed some tyres and barriers, but the tyres don't show up ingame. Is there a problem with version x30?

Quote from Forbin :@Nordic: Probably becuase you're maxing out your FF with it set that high in game. I typically run max caster, max steering lock (regardless of the car) and about 20% FF in game. I use 540 degrees in both the profiler and LFS, with 0 turn compensation, and 102% FF in the profiler.

The motors in the wheel are only so strong, and with 64% FF, you're probably getting max force within about 20 degrees of travel in either direction. Turn the wheel farther and the output torque stays the same. Hit a bump that would normally cause the wheel to lighten a bit and nothing happens to the output torque because you're already well past the peak threshold.

In short, your FFB output is clipped due to the limitations of the hardware.

In case you're unfamiliar with the term "clipped": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C ... g_%28signal_processing%29

Thx! That makes sense, unfortunately it doesn't change a thing. I still can't feel any force drop off .
I don't know if any of you guys tried netkarpro, but the force feedback is pretty awesome and the best thing about netkar.

Quote from geeman1 :Try shifting down. MRT has a motorcycle gearbox, so first gear is down instead of up (1-N-2-3-4-5).

Thx- that worked, also i'm pretty sure i tried that before

The car starts and i can rev the engine but it won't let me select a gear. What's wrong? Every other car works fine....

I have a big problem with the FF. The overall feel is pretty good, but there seems to be a problem with the front tyres force feedback. I just can't feel them, there is no feedback about the available grip and no force drop off. I tried different profiler settings and changed the ff rate in the .cfg from 256 to 128, but it didn't help either.

My setup:
G25
Profiler settings: center spring off/ 105%
Ingame: force set to 64

Do you guys feel a force drop off? Any advice?

Nice driving and smart camera position- you make it look pretty realistic

What about do you guys think about engine brake torque? I think the brake torque is insignificant on all cars, especially on the race cars. I mean there is no need to blip the throttle while downshifitng to keep the rear stable, which makes driving easy. Especially the race cars with assumed high engine compression ratios and low inertia drive train including engine should have some noticeable brake torque. My street car seems to have more of it. I'm not saying it is wrong, i'm just wondering.

About clutch heat:
I heard many people whining about they can't drive too laps without overheating the clutch. Seriously if you experience this you do something terrible wrong while driving. From the first lap on with the new patch i didn't manage to overheate my clutch, only on puporse.

This Layout is based on the kart center track of Michael Schumacher.
http://www.ms-kartcenter.de/de/home/intro.php

The track width is around 6m like the original, which might be just a little bit too small for the mrt.
Anyways, have fun guys and feel free to complain .

nice little programm

i would like to see an function which allows you to import a photo or some vector file of a track and then you can easily copy/trace the circuit layout.
what do you think?

edit:
never mind. i just changed the background
