ok the thing is that i made a "rally stage style" layout in blackwood and im using a fxr setup to go around the track. I made this layout fast so dont flame me for an offset fence or something. Anyway, here are the layout, the fxr setup i use and a small replay and a picture of a part off the layout.

thanks for the comment about the vid and the advices, actually i only took 2-3 hours of driving and about 1h of trying the do something good with windows movie maker. I got adobe premiere, but i had a problem with it and the car was dissapearing (well sort of). Im not a big movie maker, but i had so much fun with the xrr since a while that i decided to make something to remind me lol.

But if the size is pretty..ok, that track would be a great one, mainly because it has so many different ways and configs that could be used.

To answer you, the straigh part at the bottom of the track is about 200-300m, so yeah it is small, but the idea is there, there is no need to do the same exact track
How about a small practice track

No more nurburgring, no fuji speedway. Just a simple practice track where you can experiment every type of curves and make differents layout on it.
Lots of different angle in curve, grip loosing curves, understeer in a curve, oversteer the other, scary ones...airpins, slaloms, off-camber curves,etc.

I know peoples are tired of track suggestion, but this one is more like a carpark replacement or addon.
I know the new tracks are mostly for S3, but thats what improvments suggestion is all about...futur stuff.

Hehe, looks like the one i built a while back with my old civic si pasenger seat...while the rest of the car went to the junkyard!Tilt To bad i aint got any room for it now. I want a G25 now lol. Im still with my momo logitech wheel.

Lol im not on the Mudflaped nova side. I just think that a good game is all about details. For sure realistic and useful option are more welcome, but small detail like these make the game looks more realistic in a spectator point of view. No one would race their low-profile tire in a dirt course. In the meenwhile....the wheel is done, just need to put it with the car + add the mudflaps.

Your totally right about that, just like alot of other improvement suggestion around here, we will need to be patient.

Mudflap would be a great addon to the cars when racing in rallycross track. Just like the UF1000 which the roof can be removed. Maybe they could be put automatically on when dirt or hybrid tire are on. Anyway, i know rallycross isn't the most popular part of the game, but i think that's why we need some improvements. A WRC version of the RB4 would also be needed in my opinion, but that have already been mentionned. Also, i guess dirt wheels would also be great when using dirt tires. I can't wait to see my rb4 with "compomotive like" wheels and mudflaps! Ill post a quick render of the rb4 on compomotive with mudflap soon enough, only need to finish my wheel in 3dsmax.

Well time for me to show you guys my new project. Im still kinda new to 3dsmax but i can manage to do something not too bad. Its based on a caterham (lx lfs car) geometry but im currently adding some changes to the body.

So here's the lx concept car (pics are in progress order):
Im pretty happy with the results for now except for some bugs here and there. Fell free to comment.

Yes, i was actually thinking about the subaru sti for the RB4 where we could also limit the split from 10% to 50% to be more realistic for that kind of car instead of the actual 5% to 95%

I think it would be a great and small addon to do so, like adjusting the front and rear sway bars, we could adjust the center diff. % to front/ rear so it would allow more control over the awd/4wd cars

I really would like to get that autocross opened between the actual autocross and the skid circle...like in this thread i made a little while back:

I know that it's possible to go everywhere in the map already with reset button or crashing over fences(except for the drag strip i was talking about in the thread ^^) So it would be nice to just remove those barrier and repair some holes in the design... Would be damn good for more surface and more fun(drifting practice, city driving, etc.)

Just wanted to take this suggestion a little further...if it could be possible to add it to the list plz

Bridge like in WRC where a car can jump over while the other pass underneath could be very cool for small environnement like the autocross

I've tried it last night and it is way better than v.1.1 (that normal ) Anyway, im looking foward to the next update, as i can see some little things that makes it a little unreal...yeah im still on idle about the sound quality...ill try to find some sound samples for backfire so i could ship them here... because from inside the car, the sound shouldn't feel so direct, but more like blurred, if i can say it like that.(im french so please excuse my writing).

Im very happy someone came up with that prog. Good job Becky rose

I was indeed just talking about an autocross layout that integrate all, but I also had the idea where u put somekind of a check point\timer on the drag line so when u pass that check point and stop before the start line, a timer start a little count(like 5 seconds and then the lights turns green(need a separate chrono here tho if u want to get your ¼mile time). Anyway the idea is there. Here are the pictures of the way to the drag skip from autocross area.

Maybe already dicuss but....I just had the idea to open the autocross area with the actual autocross, the skidpad and the drag strip in one track. The idea is to have a place where we can test cars in different environement without changing track and have a more all around track. I know im not a programmer but these three layout are actually in one map like shown on the official site. So maybe its just a remove barrier things to do.

Just a quick idea

The wav sound in ver 1.1 must be updated with a better quality one...thats my opinion. Right now it just sound like if it was comming out of a old 200 AMAZING sounds kids keyboard . Other than that, Great job! Great Addon...Next: transmission sound .
