Forum users like these make me wanna give up on aircraft pilot career and study psychology, it really makes me curious about how their brains work, I know at least two other subjects on two different forums that seem to live in an alternate reality.

Thank you, Scawen, I really appreciate that you will at least look into this someday, LFS is still my favorite racing sim, and that problem was bugging me for a while, and I'm sure I'm not the only person out there who would really like an improvement in this area.

The LAN video was basically just an example, we want the online code to be made smoother, I'm not a coder so I can't really get into details, but there must be some ways to smooth things out, iRacing is an example, it's not perfect, but the car doesn't teleport to a new location everytime a packet is received.

The update that would make me more satisfied is not a physics update, neither is it a graphics update, nor content update, but netcode update.

We know it's possible to do better, we have plenty of other examples out there, so, I beg you, please, fix the warping.

You know what I wouldn't mind?

Dynamic shadows, with self shadow in-cockpit aswell, day/night cycles and particle effects.

Really the only thing special about lfs nowdays compared to other games are its very good physics BUT you need a g25/27 or a fanatek wheel to appreciate how good lfs is.
They may be not cheap but that's the way it is if you really love racing games buy one as you can use it on some other amazing games like rfactor and the gtr games too.

90% of my laps in LFS were with my mouse.

Race from the Brazilian League LFSBR with 32 cars, which on the first battery I finished 3rd, although I should've finished 1st or 2nd, but on the last turn I released the throttle while in 2nd place to catch the draft from the leader, but at the same time I pressed right ALT to speak on teamspeak, so when I accelerated again, nothing happened (you can see that in 3:53).

On the second battery I got involved in an accident and don't even remember where I finished, but the 1st and 2nd placed racers finished with 0:00.00 difference.

Well, in the video you might get mistaken that the guy is close to us because of the FOV, he actually was rather far, the aerodynamics weren't even being affected yet, there was no reason to give passage so early (I gave him passage after the next turn).

I'm just having a little problem, when I try to load the SFX's, it says "could not read engine". I might be doing something wrong though, haven't played LFS in a loooong time.

The thing is, the driver that came with the CD wouldn't install, it said "class not registered", I downloaded a driver and it said the same thing, so I installed through that windows new hardware thing.
