Yeah, whatever, a little bit different "road culture" I think . I've already recognised that the hazard thing is good when you're driving a slow car and it is time to say thanks to somebody. When driving gtr, by the time I turn on the hazards, I could crash something etc.
Can somebody tell me how does the start on GPL look like? And what's GPL btw? Grand Prix somethin'?
I like the idea of stop-and go penalty when doing falsestart. Or drive-threw the pit lane for example.
EDIT:
Ah and I forgot. Somebody said something about rolling starts. It's a brilliant idea too. Some of us on our polish lfs forum, took part in some endurance races, for example 20-30 laps we int. with gtr's. And we have had a rolling start already. There was a peace-car, xfr afair, hazards on doing first lap about 100kmh/60mph, about 15 gtr's behind warming up... That was really cool. I know, cause I was a peace-car . Then on the last straight line I ran into the pits and they begun the race. You should try something something like this. That's reallistic/funny/cool/something new .
Thanks bobvanvliet for the idea of profiler. With a little battle with logitech profiler (it wasn't working for some time ) I end up with some new assigned buttons on my wheel. Very cool stuff! Thanks a lot. Now I can, for example, change my pit instructions on the wheel. Quite comfy Cue-Ball I think you can easily do the same with your shifter-thing.
Hi there, this is my little idea. Everytime the race starts almost everybody put the throttle to the metal and only wait for the green litght to show up. Couldn't it be like in the practice mode? For people who made a falsestart it could be a time penalty or even a disqualification. It could be a cool element of race and it would depend on player's technique and reflex .
And a small request. Could it be possible to change the button in controls for hazard lights? Every time I want to thank somebody kind for pulling over and let me go on the blue flag, I must reach for my keyboard. If it could be possible I would like to have the button for the hazards somewhere on the wheel for example.
