Looking forward to a good race tonight. We will have a few more real race drivers making a return to LFS for tonight's race.

Looking forward to a bigger grid, competitive racing and hoping Andy does not hit me off at the last corner this time!!!!

Hi,

I'm looking at replacing my laptop but I need something small (prob 13.3") because I travel a lot.

I use large programs like sony movie maker (HD videos), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and of course LFS etc. For LFS I've been told that the processor is more important than graphics card...... is this the case?

Because of the small size lap top I want 13"-14" I'm finding I hard to find something powerful.

Can someone please advise me what kind of spec I should be looking for?

Very sorry guys the server is down at the moment, I've sent them a mail so I'm hoping it will be back soon. We have no choice but to postpone the race till next Wednesday (17th).

Hard luck mate you have been unlucky in a few races. You had incidents with me last night in both races one of which was just a slight rub which resulted in us both bouncing off each other and into the barriers. And the second was the result of the starting grid being 3 abreast. The LFS contact is very annoying and something that has been getting worse in my view.

Anyway KY National should be a lot better, I hope to see you there……

I will also be giving Niall a hand (I'm Niall’s brother!). We worked together to pick a variety of tracks and race lengths.

I organised the prizes. 1st prize will be a pair of Sparco pit lane shoes in your choice of colour and size.

So hopefully the prizes will attract some serious racers. If anyone is designing a new skin it would be great if you could use a murray motorsport logo (I'll upload a logo later) or advertise the website www.murraymotorsport.ie. If we keep our sponsors happy they might get involved in another league .

Guys Bump drafting or pushing does happen in real racing. I have experienced it. We used to do it all the time in Karting and when I started racing in the UK in slow fiesta's on some tracks it was worth up to a second and for two years when I raced Alfa's in Monza you could gain 3/4 of a sec. U prob dont see it much on TV cause in Touring cars it is not possible because it blocks the air intake for the engine and u loose all power. Team mates working together is part of racing. I think because Ant made such a "song and dance" about our crash during the street race it is easy to highlight every mistake I have made.

Richard I am sorry for our crash.. But as I said I think giving out about me helping u down the straight is crazy! Anyway in future I will only do it to the guys I know have no problem with it.

I think my problem is I come from real racing to LFS and I drive with a more aggressive style then most. 7 years of Karting and 7 years of racing cars teaches you bad habbits!! (if u dont drive with a bit of agression in real racing u get nowhere).

Sorry to those 4 people that have had a problem with my driving and I will give u more space next time

Normally i dont complaining but it seems that not all knows what clean and fair racing is about...

Richard I cannot understand your problem with me helping you down the straight. U can gain about half a second on that track by pushing and I doing this so we could catch the group ahead. It is much faster when 2 work together. For example myself and Niki came from way back to be in P1 & P2 in race 1. I am always happy when I get help on the straights.

About the crash I am sorry. I got a good run out of the fast right hand corner and tried to go alongside you into the left hander. But I am not sure if u expected me to brake or you didnt see me. When you turned in I had to go right over the inside kerb to try and avoid you but as we exit the corner you didnt use all the road and we collided. It was really only a slight tap door to door but lfs collision detection made it a lot worse. I have gone side by side with other people through that corner with no problems. I would not have tried the move if I didnt think it was possible. It was not deliberate & it also didnt help me because my car was badly damaged for the rest of the race as a result.

Sorry Leprekaun I didnt realise this was a problem. Like I said last night I am not an expert on LFS rules this is my 1st full league to race on. But when I raced in real life on an oval with an field passing on the apron off the start was no problem.

Anyway guys this league has been good. But I really dont enjoy the people who bitch and Moan. I have been takin out in loads of races and never complained. That new guy SSR|D.Lind93 took me out on the last lap when I was 2nd and I didnt have a problem with it. This is not F1 World championship its only a bit of fun on a monday night. Dont get me wrong I am competitive and I like to win but I'm sorry if some of u take it a lot more serious...

Ant I agree it was an agressive move but I was halfway along side and in this situation you have to give space. you turned to the apex as normal and I had nowhere to go. When we collided I lost all control.

But now that you bring up the subject here I think the last corner on lap 5 should be looked at. I was clearly passing you on the brakes and you turned left and hit my right rear and sent me straight on.

Anyway it was a good nights racing and I cant believe KD won again!!!

Good craic last night but my races were a bit shit....

Qual was not that bad considering I was suffering with a hangover from hell thanks to Keith!!

Race 1 I was sitting behind Niki and Leprekaun when my computer decided to tell me there was an acus update available and closed LFS window.!!

Race 2 was difficult starting from last. I was hoping to get through the first few laps with no damage but that didnt happen and my car felt shit for most of the race... A few people fell off so I got 7th in the end.....

I will have Better luck next week
