Doing that doesnt help for me....the wierd thing is a couple of weeks ago it appeared in the server list in-game and i joined and raced like normal then the very next day some team mates where on it i couldnt see the server in the server list. so i did a find user online, it said blah blah user is on (FM) fox junkies would you like to join? click yes and i just get "connect timed out" FAIL

Nah not running a billion router got some Link thing seems to work fine no problems with lag on MoE or most other leagues. i cant even go into the fragmaster website lol says almost the same thing "server is taking to long to respond" in game it says "connect timed out"

I'm also having this problem with (FM) servers. same thing but im on Cable not wireless. asked about this before but no one replied glad its not just me

Ok here's the problem. Its only with a couple of servers but mainly (FM) FoX JuNkieS. i cant see this server in my host lists in-game but when i go to lfsworld and check the host lists it is there. So i tried to go join specific server and type the server name in but it just says "connect timed out". There are some other servers that dont appear in-game too but when i use join specific host i can join them. So if anyone has any ideas????

Figured it out, need the port for the host to connect the master server to my server itself, the problem in the walkthrough was it forgot (or i didnt read) the part that says u need port 29339 open too.

All works now me happy

yeah i'll check the ports again but i'm pretty sure i've allowed them all...

any other suggestions?

Hey guys, I'm running F8 with wine to try and run a test server for a project.

Does anyone know if wine has a firewall or settings that need to allow the host to connect to the master server, because atm it won't go outside our network(to connect to the master serveR) even though our firewall allows the ports for insim and LFS.


any ideas?
