I applaud your efforts - keep up the good work helping the LFS community I've got big respect for the KB guys who invest a lot of their time to become competitive also

For the record though i would urge anyone who is a regular on LFS, and can afford a wheel to get one as soon as possible! You owe it to yourself to get the best experience from your favourite racing sim !!! You Won't regret it

Sounds like these fools are substituting a lack of driving skill with moronic acts of wrecking and spreading Ill feelings....I feel sorry for the losers !!

I think we should have a wanted list subforum, and people who catch them wrecking on their replays can post them up and build a sticky thread to gather evidence so we can permanently ban them from the game. They do it on other games so why not here !!?

I'd agree that lfs wont be the best for learning any of those cars traits. You can only ever do that with the real mc coy and that would take more than a days ragging. If you can find the track layout in a game learn it by all means but otherwise leave it for the track.

Its going to be online this evening, so pop along. I might not be on there personally all the time so look for an unpopulated server to start with. I only post stuff about the track here because this is the best place for it...

Sorry a bit OT - Call me an old git, but what does l33t mean !?

If i was paying a subscription for LFS then i would rightly expect updates and fixes on a regular basis !

But seeing as we have all paid our money, and got a great game to start with - there's only so far your £24 can take LFS before they need another 12 or 24 for a significantly improved version. I guessing that LFS is their sole income, so they cant be expected to provide regular updates i.e. every month when they are working on bigger things they will keep them in the black. Fair enough if there were some serious flaws with S2 then they should be fixing them free of charge..but otherwise i'm not expecting anything groundbreaking for some time now, and when something does come along - i'm expecting to pay these guys some money for the privilege of running it.

Just enjoy what you have and help support the modding community for now - the LFS experience is what you make of it

PS - If the devs read this i for one would rather pay a monthly subscription rather than a one off price if it ment you could employ someone to provide regular improvements and revised content for LFS

I was on this server this weekend gone, and unfortunately there were a couple of Class A tw@ts who refused to obey the flags and were racing dirty - i had one driver open a small door between him and the armco to allow me past and as i got up next to him he wouldn't let me past and rail roaded me into the wall. I was 2nd at this point in the race.

I'll release it once i've made a few modifications, as there are a few point on the track i want to make more of a challenge and then have it race tested. Its currently set for autocross and that simply won't do

Current indications though are very good - its a real close race and demands driver skill and etiquette to work at its best...


I still need testers by the way !! Not just people who come onto the track, crasha few times and disconnect because you actually have to learn this track !! lol

Question : Does anyone know how to set the track up as a proper race track rather than autocross - everyone is spawning on the start/finish line and people cant join until the countdown has reached zero and they have driven off !

I want people to spawn in the pit area, but start the race on the start/finish line if thats possible ?

Any help appreciated !

Just out of curiosity, how many of you would like to race the small hatchbacks on a replica of a kart circuit ?

I've got one almost done, but needs some testers to give feedback on the flow of the track and the ease of use. My main aim is to make the track easy to navigate, but hard to master.

Any willing participants ?

Hi all

Whenever i type in another track apart from Blackwood into my cfg file for hosting, the gui says unknown track

I want to run different tracks, does anyone know the codes for them, or how i can change the tracks ?

This credits things is a turn off for me if it comes into play. All those people who been playing ages will no doubt get the cars straight away and not have any work to do, whereas the people that only have been playing for a while get penalised. I think these credits should be used to unlock a few more new high performance cars or new tracks that dont exist in S2 Alpha presently, that way the experienced players get a new challenge and the lower level drivers can keep mastering the existing cars and have something to look forward to once they get the required amount of credits !

I'm going to be forming HemzOil Racing shortly, to compete in one off Sprints/Endurance events (in pairs and solo), and also compete in a league against rival teams

Initially, we'll stick to one popular model car and get out racing, swap setups and get everyone racing, but we will be making a point of utilising those lesser used models such as the LX and MRT. So it would be a good idea to be interested in racing these cars and be fairly skilled at car control, or at least appreciate it and be willing to learn along the way.

Wether you have been in LFS for some time, or a LFS Rookie, we are still interested in you. All we ask is you are interested in racing clean, know track etiquette, and consistent in your track performances. What we don't want is foul language towards others, or bad showmanship on the track.

Winning is always a good thing, but the actual taking part with like minded drivers is better
