I Updatet my directx to the december 2006 version ( before it was August 2006 )
No freeze since update. ;D

I like the new Patch! Great work, but why ever my LFS is freezing all the time. The sound gets in an infinite loop. after ~ 20 Seconds it goes on normally. Then it freezes again, and so on. While the computer is frozen, my car keeps driving. I found my car hanging in a wall when my Computer continued working normally.

Sys Specs: AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Barton core ( 512KB Lvl 2) Not OVerclocked and at normal temperature ( 47°C during gaming )
Geforce 6600gt AGP ( Temp OK, 57°C when gaming, not overclocked)
Asrock K7S41gx
Creative Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Digital

If more infos are needed, please ask for them ;D And sorry for my bad english.

Oh and: I had this Problem before, but with every game i had. It was because of Fast Writes were enabled. Now its definetly only LFS and not a problem with my Computer settings or Hardware failures.

i miss it, too. I would like to have it as an option, too.

i think that won´t work for me because my fans are all clean also the gpu and cpu temps are ok my 6600gt has 50°C during gaming and the cpu has got 49°C well thats not perfect but its not too hot.... derfrag will not help me because I have formatted two weeks ago and there are no viruses or troyans at my computer i checked that yesterday...

Hi i´ve got the same problem, but there a little diffrence: My lfs freezes after changing the car a third time ALWAYS. But i doesn´t freeze if i don´t change the car... If i change it two times there is also no freeze. But after the third time *FREEZE*. I can live with it but its annoying... And if it freezed the first time it runs again, but after a short time it freezes again. And then, after 2nd freeze there is not much time to the 3rd freeze... And so on...
it came with the new versions....

Problem seemes to be fixed...
I dont knoiw why but my agp to pci bridge drivers were not installed and i couldn´t activate the agp surfaceaccelaration (translated from german, feature may be called diffrent in English).
After installing the drivers it worked long time until now. I hope the problem is fixed

I´ve got a problem with the game since the new patch T and in S it was the same.
Now my problem:
When im racing the game freezes abrupt for 10-15 seconds and the sound gets in an infinite loop after the 10-15 seconds it runs normal but after a minute it is the same problem again, then after ten seconds the same problem and then i´m getting fed up with it... And when the game is frozen i´m not able to open the taskmanager but if it runs again i´m able to open it and to end the game
I watched the temperatures of my cpu gpu and so on but its normal...

System:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Barton core
Geforce 6600gt with driver version 81.98
Asrock K7S41gx
512 MB RAM (i tested the ram too but its ok)
80gb Excelstore Drive
Soundblaster Live! 5.1
