First thing I would try to fix this:
In Winamp - Options menu - Click Preferences
Select General Preferences
Set Priority Class to Normal

What might happen is that LFS and Winamp would try to fight for bandwith. With this setup, I think you give priority to LFS, avoiding confusion.
