Even if you want to call it cheating, which I have my doubts according to the rule book its going to be classed as, you have to hand it to alonso he knew exactly how long to hold lewis, as people have said its very senna/ schumacher that if he did mean it, it was very very calculated

dandaman you could achive your idea with a fairly simple java app and a bluetooth phone(rather than using a gprs connection) obviously the java app wouldnt work on the iphone however if you phone is less than 2 years old theres a good chance it will run

as someone who has been programming for Java mobile phones for over 3 years I do find the iphone funny in that as some people say its like mobiles werent able to do this until the iphone came along! however it is good that people now realise exactly what a mobile phone can do!

everyone has seen some piece of software do something cool, so they want it to do that and add some other stuff that must be easy because it has already been done.

The other great thing is wanting everything tomorrow, I am sure you tell people that feature will take a day this feature will take a day, and all they have heard is "day".

Guess the problem is somethings are easy to code around and its like any logic puzzle sometimes the solution comes easily, sometimes it takes ages to write what might only be 3 lines of code!!!

I got a second hand one on ebay for £35 + 12 postage, now I have it its well worth the purchase even new, hell I would even be tempted now to go for the g25 as it makes the game so much more enjoyable

if thats the gran turismo 3 and looks very much like it is its a 270 degree wheel and is nothing compared to the dfp (I have both and would not go back)

first of all thanks for providing the servers I put this game on my works laptop and used an old ps2 steering wheel (original driving force) and suddenly realised just how good this game was about 2 weeks ago!
Got myself a DFP this week and thanks to some help from the people on CD3 I can consistantly get the mini round in 52.5-53.5 seconds and really enjoying it!

Ive been playing a lot on the works laptop for the last few days enough to convince me to get a dfp which has got me hooked

I am using a thinkpad T43 which is a P4M 1.86ghz 2gig of DDR2 ram and an X300 gfx card(I am a programmer hence the decent spec laptop), with this at 1680x1050 I can get 30fps (with the eye candy on) most of the time which is excellent.

my main machine which I would like to leave hooked up as it has more space for games etc, it is a AMD 64 3200+ Venice, 1 gig ram and an inbuilt nvidia 6150 which has 128meg available to it, this struggles to achieve 10fps, I assume this is down the inbuilt 6150, though I guess its possible to be the cpu

not really a big pc gamer as I spend my day in front of one! so dont like using a mouse much outside of work
so really this is just for live for speed would I be better of getting AMD X2 4200+ or something like a Nvidia 7800gtx (both items seem to be around the £60 mark) and overclocking the cpu
