I got same problem, but i think it's caused by my poor connection (56k modem powa ). It only happens when i race against a lot of racer (>15).

Example : 30 laps race, i get a penalty in lap 29, i entered pit in this lap => disqualified but how could i do anyway ?. It's a bit disappointing ...

When i get a penalty (for overspeed in pit), if i enter the pit in the last lap, i'm disqualified.

Problem fixed. It seems to be a problem with my IDE cable. I also noticed some troubles with my hardrive. After unmount/mount cable, that's ok and the game play without trouble...

Hello. I've found a problem during the game. When i play the game, a few minute later, i have repeating freeze with 2-3 sec interval.

I noticed errors in my event viewer when this problem occured (see pic attached).

The only way to resolve this problem is to disable my CDR Writter. When i have done it, the game play normally.
