this is a carrera that i am working on - thoughts?

yep, thats what i was thinking. I am not too concerned about FPS as i run with VSync on, so i am limited to 75fps which is more than enough. (it never drops below that even with 25+ cars on the grid)

ya, i would like to use the games settings, as then i dont have to enable / disable it in the control panel when switching to other games that struggle to run with full FSAA.

but the image quality is lacking, so i might just keep on switching....

thnx

hi - pls forgive me if this is in the wrong section.

With the new patch Z i notice that there is now AA support in the game.

In the past i used to force the AA in the ATI control panel and it worked fine.

With the ATI control panel's AA settings set to "application managed" and the in game settings set to max AA and AF, the game looks good, but not as good as when the ATi control panel is doing the AA work.

Is this normal or a result of the game's AA support?

I am wondering if there is anyone who can point out the advantages/disadvantages to both setups.?

thx

Well, thanks for all the opinions - i have bitten the bullet and ordered a DFP from Darkplanets (they seem to be the cheapest) - so yeah, thanks for all those comments.

see you on the track.

Yeah, i can get the DFP for £58.98 from darkplanets.co.uk and the cheapest i have found the MOMO is for about £68.99.

I think the paddle shifters are probly the biggest pull towards the MOMO right now, altho the troublesome pedals might make it worth the sacrifice going to the DFP.

basically, the perfect wheel doesnt exist.

Are there any other brands that are as good? Some people were going on about Saitek wheels, but i know next to nothing about them.

Thanks 4 ure help so far.
geez this is hard...

Ok, so i know there are a dozen links on all the different wheels , and now i have reached the following decision:

DFP or MOMO?

i have people on either side of the fence saying bla bla bla, momo was designed for pc, dsp is better but for ps2, bla bla.

Can someone please just make the decision for me???

i mean, the DFP is about £10-£15 cheaper and as far as i can see, u lot seem to prefer it.
Whats the main difference between the two?, and i take it that they are the best wheels in that price range? saitek any good?

thanks, hope someone can help me get on with playing LFS and not worrying about this flippin wheel.

Hi there, i have a few pc's in my office with Matrox G550 and G450 cards, and none of them seem to work with LFS.
The program simply crashes.
Is there a patch for this?
