Since we're coming close to the end of the alfabet, and thus maybe an S3 release, aren't many demo-racers waiting for S3 before buying the game?

Or will S3 be simply +£12?

you guys had a miura ?

damn, i envy you

if you kept it (in good condition) you'd get a fortune now (well, between 70-200k € anyway)

Hi all.

I have a interest in cars in general, but i feel a particular fondness for the real classics.

So my question is, If you had to choose which (classic) cars to get in your garage, which would they be? (mind you, cost is not an issue here )

mine are:
Jaguar XK 140
De Tomaso Vallelunga
Maserati Mistral 3700
Ferrari 330

Too bad i have quite an expensive tast
about 50 made of the ferrari, 53 of the De tomaso
+- 830 maserati's and less then 9000 of the jaguar

If there's anyone willing to sponsor me ?

If you're about to do some nearly impossible car-building, watch this and be inspired

Quote from Kostek : Also forget about pickups, people carriers and such :P

pick-ups, ok,
but if you've seen the top gear people carrier race, you know it would be fun

maybe something for when the dev's have absolutely nothing more to add/improve

I like idea of being able to have multiple engines for the same chassis/car
A turbocharged 4 cyl (thinking lancer evo-like) vs a V6 of V8 with similar bhp would be fun

no offence, but this project is like digging up a couple of rusted pieces of spitfire and trying to mak the plane fly again

good luck though, it won't be easy to find replacement pieces
If you ever drive it, don't crash it, it's quite "twitchy"

hehe, sounds like most people recognise themselves in some way in the threadstarters story good post, i have to say

Ever tought of starting to race? karting, mini's, anything with wheels
if you've got the passion (and a bit of talent) you might get really really good

you might amaze everyone in 10 years
not many people have accomplished something great or pushed the boundaries by following the "mainstream" crowd.

many people probably tought schumacher or so was weird too, but he kept going and eventually amazed the world.
same thing with scientists, sportsmen or businessmen, they start out on the edge of the society, looked down upon by everyone, but then they get recognition and everyone looks up to them

Keep going, enjoy your passion and even if you don't get world famous, you'll probably had fun doing it

Although crazy, i'd like a M120 AMG 7.3l V12, 641bhp

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_M120_engine

In other words, the engine from the zonda

Evenly mad, maybe this one: Ferrari's F140 65° V12 with 4 valves per cylinder, dual overhead cams and variable valve timing. Bosch Motronic ME7 fuel injection is used and the engine is naturally aspirated. It displaces 5998 cm³ (366 in³) and produces 485 kW (651 hp/660 PS) at 7800 rpm and 657 N·m (485 ft·lbf) at 5500 rpm. The redline is 8000 rpm.

those 2 would be ideal in a Ferrari FXX-like track car. Or maybe a MC12 look-a-like ?
