You know what, i have the EXACT same setup as you and have the same issue.

So, I fetched one of those adapters from maplin, that I assume you now have (looking at your previous post) and I plug everything in and the wingman picks up the steering wheel and detects it as a DFP, but it does not calibrate and just the left green LED is flashing. I tried all the adapter sockets that fit the DFP and like you, I switched the changeable connector around and its never made a difference.

I also tried:
- rebooting with with plugged in, unplugged and different variations
- uninstalled and reinstalled wingman drivers etc.

It seems the common denominator is the adapter, (fingers crossed it hasn't buggered up the wheel). perhaps it just doesn't work with the DFP for some reason, even though it fits and is stated as delivering the correct power required by the wheel.

I'm frustrated. I can't afford another wheel at the moment with saving for a new house and what not, so might have to postpone returning to LFS. Shame, because I can't understand why logitech sell the official adapter in the US (only deliver to US territories, I checked). But not in Europe/UK.

did it work okay?

I just picked one up. I'm not entirely clued up on PSUs but the L50BL, in store, is now:

24v 0.8A - hopefully this slight increase doesn't burn out my wheel
DFP - looking for AC Adapter (UK ideally)

Hi All,

I'm sure you've all heard this one before. I live in the UK, I have a Logitech DFP and has lost the AC Adapter in a house move. Lost to the attic monster I imagine.

Anyway, I've done some investigating and it seem Logitech do not sell adapaters as a seperate part outside of the US. http://buy.logitech.com/store/ ... tPage/categoryid.13979500

I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere where I could possibly pick one up (UK plug ideally), or if anyone has one spare I can purchase.

The adapater is the same for these models: DFP, DF GT, DF EX, MOMO Racing, Speed Force Wireless, DriveFX

The part number is: P/N 190211-A030
Output: 24V .75A

I'd appreciate any information anyone has to help me with this or any solutions I can try.

Many thanks
Leigh

hello Fellow Racers,

Now i'm sure this has most likely been brought up before. so for that i apologise. but i just wanted to start a thread to see what wheels you guys are using and which ones you recommend. i use to have a sidewinder forcefeedback wheel back in the day for the old grand prix games. as it uses a gameport and my new PC doesnt have one i have passe dit down to my brother for use on his old machine. he's dedicated to give it a good thrashing before it packs in (he plays LFS with 10-15 frames per second). so im looking to purchase sometihng new. im not looking at a massive budget. below the 100 pound mark if you will.

cheers everyone
