Frozen asked me to review his services when i bought a server from him, overall not the best ive had, i got the impression from him that hes only in it for the money, he promised me anti ddos protection which half the time didnt work right, and i had to help him with certain stuff in his dedicated server. id say he has alot to learn before becoming professional.

the Ddos on the master server has been going on and off for months now

they wont be allowed back on lfs, only lfs they can have WKD on now is the hacked version, if they do appear on normal lfs the server will only get shut down again.

I agree with daniel, the devs cant do more then what there doing already, the only way to prevent it is to pour huge amounts of money into a security system and limiting demo as dan said. But whats the point of pouring thousands of dollars into a DoS prevention system when really the people that are causing the issues are just childish idiots that have nothing better to do other then wreak other people's entertainment.

All of this was caused by jealousy, the way i see it is WKD were trying to dominate every cruise server so they could always be number one hoping they would never get caught, truth is i knew they were killing my server, i just kept quite about it.

Its really sad to see this is how lfs is going.., i remember way back when i started back at the end of 2007 as a demo user test4 "couldn't think of a username at the time lol", there was none of this DoS business now it seems to happen on a regular basis.., personnaly i dont think the devs can do much more then there already doing, maybe if they built a new system but i dont think that will happen.

well acctually, there is somthing you can do, my server was also ddos'd by who ever was/is doing it, until i got Anti DoS protection on my server, now they cant touch it.

now this might be expensive i wouldnt know, im just lucky i had a friend who owns a hosting company that helped me out.

yea hes ddosing my stuff to, lfs devs need to do somthin about this 128 guy

Heya fellow programmers! , just wondering if anyone could shed some light on insim.net's CompCar class, i have been trying to setup the player takes over car packet, and its working fine, just when it comes down to the other player taking the car, the compcar class doesn't re-new and stats count on the old players side rather then the new players side, ive tried Compcar = new Compcar(); and playerid = 0 ect but they dont work when renewing the compcar class it says it has no constructors defiend, is anyone able to explain to me how this would work with insim.net.

keep the ClickID under 210, lfs reserves the rest of the button id's after 210 dont work, at least in LFS external, i recommend you try out Insim.NET aswell its a much more reliable base & has all the latest updates and packets for InSim & a few other goodie's lfs_external doesnt have.
