I'm very sorry about that, my grandma let me use her card to purchase LFS (She lets me use it for online things now and then). I guess she didn't realize what it was. Sorry for the mix up. In this case I will be getting LFS again, can't let my dual wheel combo go to waste.
Hello, I have been without internet for some time. I purchased S2 awhile back (the reason for me buying my DFP). I get my internet back today, and on my old posts and under account information it says Demo Racer. I have been looking forward to playing LFS tonight, since my internet was being installed today. What could cause my account status to be changed like this? If you need any proof of that I had S2, I was in one of the SRDA gummi cuppen races and my username was listed on their site as finishing the race. Also, I have some custom skins posted.
Please help me out with this, I really do not want to buy another license and probably won't.
You all have been very helpfull. Thank you for directing me to the right places I hope to end up being a pretty damn quick US driver Loads of free time to practice!
I feel that having an amateur league would add quite a bit to the game for the LFS noobs like me. Is there one? Has there ever been one? What would it take to start one?
I for one, think having some good competitive races would also help progress our (us noobs) skills.
Just something I would really like If someone wants to start one, I'll help however I can
It could be the heat I guess, my case temps (According to my case) were 92*F when LFS crashed just a minute ago. Although it was happening last night when it was nice and cool in here.
I'll try putting my cpu back to 2Ghz, I probably never gained to much from the extra 300mhz anyways lol
Okay, this is how it looks to me in game, I have to half the skin size down to 1024x1024 before I can upload it to LFSworld.net, I want you all to see it in it's full size glory before I have to squish it down. Keep in mind these are big screenshots, but it really shows off the car in it's happy LFS life
Hello everyone, I decided to do my first attempt at skinning a car using photoshop. It took me quite a long time to get it right. The gradients matching, the text lined up on the doors, rear hatch, and front lip, and hood. And the carbon hatch, mirrors, hood, and front lip.
It's not the overclock, been like this for hell, since I built this computer.. Around a year ago if I remember right.. Always been completely stable It happens in both multiplayer and singleplayer. Doesn't always happen, just most of the time. I am running the stock heatsink, with the stock thermal pad removed and using arctic silver 5. For case fans I have 2 80mm fans, and a 120mm fan.
Hello, I was having this problem before I bought S2, figured a re-format would fix it. I was wrong. It will play fine for awhile, then it will stutter, then freeze. After about 30 seconds to a minute it will sometimes go back to normal. Other times LFS will crash.
Running LFS with Pitspotter the smokemod, 1600x1200x32, everything up all the way. I get 90fps usually.. Then that damn stutter and crashing crap.
Any suggestions?
Anthony
By the way this is my system..
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.3Ghz
512MB PC3200 400Mhz DDR (Corsair Value Select)
ATi All In Wonder 9800 Pro (Stock Speeds)
Logitech DFP & Logitech Nascar Wheels (Using one of the Nascar's pedals as an analog clutch)
Soltek K8AN2EGR Motherboard
Hope those specs might help diagnosing the problem.
Well, I think this is an appropriate time to say hi. I have been playing the LFS demo for awhile now. I had to buy a license for it, this has to be one of the best, if not the best racing sim out there! Awesome work!
I was using a Logitech Nascar wheel that I have had for a while now, I decided it was time to upgrade. Picked up a new DFP from Gamestop yesterday for $75. I have both wheels connected and am using one of the pedals from my Nascar wheel for an analog clutch. Having an analog clutch and force feedback seem to add so much to the driving experience.
Nice work on LFS, hope you see you all out on the track! Now to try to figure out whats wrong with my computer
