Iv never posted about this subject before but after waiting years for lfs s3 to come out im now of the opinion that it probably wont be worth the wait with games like rf2 coming out now with dynamic weather night day better physics and tyre models the list goes on and the mods available make it much more exspansive than lfs, iv always loved lfs and defended it when discussing with friends the failure of the operators to move quickly enough with the development but in all honesty and this is just my opinion its really lacking what other sim racing games have.

I think sadly quite a few people have become bored with it which is going to happen after so many years without much new content, this seems to have effected online play alot, gone are the days when I used to spend hours in the FOX car, no one ever uses it now its mostly the demo cars and demo racers online (blgp always) which normaly means crash city and no good clean racing.

So iv decided to leave LFS for pastures new, iv had some awesome races over the years with some great racers but as thay seem to be in short supply these days its time to move on to RF2 which looks fantastic, i know it might work out more exspensive but I guess LFS is proof that you get what you pay for and nothing more than that.

I can see this agument from all angles, you have many lfs fans who paid there money for the game which is now going a little stale and want some new content then you have the guys developing it who want to make it perfect before they release it which is all well and good and the correct approach(GT5 springs to mind).

I think what would have stopped all this would have been for the developers not to have announced the scirroco or rockingham in 2008 to be still working on it by the end of 2010 with few updates on progress in this way people wouldnt be getting tired of waiting so long but to be fair 1 car and 1 track will not make that much difference in the grand scheme of things they will quickly become the norm and then we will be back to square one wanting more new tracks and cars.

Im sure opinions differ greatly but maybe in the future things that are only on the drawing board will not be announced until they are close to fruition.

Night racing! Lfs needs it

Id like to see the typical le mans style cars prototypes as they are fast high downforce machines, american v8s? Well anyone whos driven one will no they are awfull cars fast in a straight line then off at the first corner i would do anything to stop lfs having any american cars infact lets just keep it european the whole world knows europe makes the best cars by a considerable margin

To be fair i am sponsored by google so if you search for zippos i come top of the list so as you said the likely gains of having my logos on my car are going to be minimal to say the least so in effect the team is only just a team like any other you would not be adding any financial gains but if suddenly every smoking member of the lfs community decieded to buy a zippo from my shop then i would want to share that with the team in one way or another.

So to clear it up a team needs its own skin logos on its car which i have done the fact its my own shop logo is niether here nor there i just want to go team racing in events if anyone is hardcore and enthusiastic enough they would want to do it just to race and compete in the proper events.

Yes i do it cost money to set a team up of which i will pay all so that is where my sponsor money is going please only post on this thread if you have something positive to add or want to know more about joing this team. Domain names servers ect all cost money think about it!

Im looking for like minded people who just enjoy racing and want to be part of a team iv not heard of any other teams giving money to drivers or free zippos so why should i? Like i said in the other thread its possible i might get some zippos done out with team member engravings on them but iv not thought about it much, perhaps il go to the available drivers listings and ask around there.

ive made no mods but it says OOS-CAR or now it says JOOS-CAR on some servers

yes before you asked i have patched the game, but i have a problem where i log into a server and after about 5 seconds its chucks me out and in the top left corner i get a message saying 005-CAR or OOS-CAR not sure which one it is but what does this mean?

im actualy glad someone else is having this problem, what system are you running it on? iv tried un-installing and re-installing but it hasnt helped so dont bother with that i just cant work out why that is the only part of the game that dont work every thing else is fine
