Just wondered if there was a ghost car option on LFS.
I used to play Sega Rally alot and the game kept your fastest lap on what was called Trial - same as hot lapping. But your fastest lap was retained and you could basically race against your quickest ghost lap without intrusion onto your car.
I found this usefull and fun to get better as it highligts were you are quicker on each section of the track immediatly
