I'm using paint.net - I can't along with gimp.

Cheers for the input guys. Maybe I will make the blue a bit darker. As for smoothing the lines - it took me hours to get them that smooth . I'll keep trying.....
Thanks for the offer of a union jack jack skin, but I like the fact that I'm using my own home-made skin. Bit like how you feel when you cook a meal you made yourself rather than using something out of a packet!

this is my first skin attempt (ok there's been plenty of bodged ones that I daren't put on here...), so constructive criticism and any hints or tips are welcome. Please bear in mind I'm totally hopeless at this sort of thing and have been using paint.net as it's free and I can't get along with gimp.

There's a patch of white near the rear on both sides I need to get rid of, and somehow the the white lines at the front don't look right when viewed head on.

Please feel free to adjust it if you're bored

Hi,

have searched the forums and can't find anything relevant so here goes...

After racing for ages using patch T (!!), I decided it best to update to patch V. Because I couldn't find a patch T to U file, I downloaded patch V from scratch and reinstalled.

I then transferred the skins, skins_x, and settings folder from the old install to the new install. Everything works great apart from 1 thing - when I try to change my skin I get the error message "Can't change [default] - select personal colours". The weird thing is all my saved BF1 skins still work ok. It's just every other car that doesn't work illepall

So.... anyone know where I've gone wrong?
