I'm sure someone has posted something similar to this before, but I think it's pretty cool. On one of the mad stunt circuits some months ago. A full forward flip, caught, controlled and racing continued ... until the next ramp. Worth a quick look.

I guess because probably only 10% (maybe less) of users have surround sound, its not a priority, although I think more and more compos are coming with 5.1 etc. these days. I don't think it's that hard to implement as DirectX has native support for it ... but eh ... I'm not the coder. It's just on my wishlist!

I can't help thinking LFS would be even more awesome if we have surround sound. I've got an Audigy Platinum 2 and Logitech 5.1 speakers. Call of Duty, FEAR and other games are awesome in surround sound. I can't imagine how cool it'd be to hear opponents creaping up behind you down the back straight, and generally being able to localise car sounds on the track.

I've tried tweaking all my settings, but can't get surround sound, so I'm assuming it's not in the game. Are there any plans for this?

hah. Thanks guys. Yeah, I vote for more Pinder too. Feels a bit like I'm driving a Pinder Pimpmobile when I'm in it though. And I'm afraid to crash her, so I lose a few 10ths on the lap times.

My Razors Edge skin.

It started off as a Bruce Cambel (from EvilDead2) skin with the chainsaw and stuff, but it started looking better as I covered him in flames. Then I had the idea of a flaming car leaving a smoke trail. Then I decided I wanted a source for the flames so I added the flame thrower. I think it turned out pretty good!

Thanks guys. Yeah, I thought it should be ok. If I get any complaints, I'll drop it, but I can't see why anyone would be upset by a bit of Lucy Pinder scantily clad (yet still clad!).

Just wanted to check my Lucy Pinder skin isn't classified as pornographic or anything, and won't result in me getting my skinning priveledge revoked. What do you guys think? Sorta pics you'd get in men mags, but not top shelf stuff!
