As for me I do not see it as a personal problem (using G25) but in another perspective; maybe Scawen must take this into consideration when applying the new tyre physics model. If the patch elevates the (full) wheel users and makes it extremely hard to participate/being cometitive with mouse/kb all those fellas are going to drop dead and wish for keeping S2 as is.

On a personal note I hope Scawen exclude the adaptation to mouse/kb input and go for making the wheel input as standard to get the most out of it.

Some still use mouse and kb so I was just reflecting over this possibility that they may no longer feel competitive after next release.

Who cares? This is a driving simulator.

I love you how you say people will play the new track for a week or two and then stop. Errm, dude, people have been playing the same set of tracks for YEARS now. No new piece of content will get played for just a week or two. For crying out loud....

This happened to me. What fixed it was setting all the graphics settings to LOW or OFF. Then, I loaded a track. It worked, and I slowly bumped the settings up to a good level. I didn't pinpoint any specific cause of the crashing, but it fixed when I lowered my settings.

I would also comment that this is the only sim other than LFS with FFB I actually like. It doesn't translate the g-forces as much, which I kind of miss, but it's extremely helpful and intuitively-useable. It does jitter way too much when you go off-track, though. I'm a huge stickler for proper FFB and it can make or break a sim for me, so I thought I'd post that if it was of interest to anyone else.

It's really, really good. It's rough around the edges, and it's certainly a beta, but there hasn't been a comparable quality racing sim released in years. You won't regret your purchase, I'll bet.
