I think 'slow' development is not something anyone here is concerned about after all this years. I'm pretty sure you get my point, so good to see we're back on topic.
I recall moderators and yourself, Scawen, moving posts that are classed as 'offtopic' to a separate thread in the past. So shall we apply the same rule in here and from now on comment about the 'October Progress Report' which at the end is the whole point of this thread? I do not see why we're talking about climate, China, UK and US in a Live For Speed October Update thread that should only be a discussion regarding the new progress that has been done in the game.
There's not often an 'update' thread, so the least you guys can do is ensure 'that one update thread' remains being used for what it's intended to be.
Just noticed the reply on this thread. If you have an active service with us kindly open a support ticket in your client area and you will receive a response in just a few hours.
Out of stock does not mean that we do not offer them anymore. We still offer Live for Speed servers but those are being replenished at the moment. I have replied to your support ticket.
Taking the servers down just because they do not get what you wanted is quite sad, and poor. It says much about how brainless this kind of people can be. Thinking they can make their own rules for every thing.
Once again, sad to see this (still) happening in Live For Speed, with such a low amount of online activity, all they're trying is to destroy it even more. However, we're not going to let this happen are we?
See it the positive way, once [TC] is back, it will be even stronger than before, I'm sure Keep the good job like you've been doing all this years.
I do not see the problem here. We offer other options such as windows which you cannot get by just buying a server there. You have to do the installation yourself and we ensure its done correctly. Thats called service. I do not know what you are trying to say with this but there are many companys who have agreements with others to resell products. There is nothing wrong in that.
Servers are back operative since this morning, there was an issue last night at the datacenter as for why the servers were down a few hours and the dedicated servers had to reboot. Apologies for the inconveniences, all is back to normal.
Indeed, LFS Hosting does not allow you to host your own insim application, however other company's do.
Indeed, if this is your purpose a server might be "easier" for you, however if its just a server with a custom InSim there are easier solutions (in hosting)
Those VPS's should be enough for your two first purposes (server + InSim) if you host the website in there too it might start struggling, it all depends on the resources it uses but if we you need Windows, you'll require way more resources than in a Linux (minimalist) VPS.
Regarding RDP, this should be possible with all Windows VPS's you buy anywhere as long as its not the commandline version of windows server.
SpeedServers.org was taken over by RackService when it started. SpeedServers was started 26 April 2012. Since rackservice took it over with its new name its 3 years.
Also. The experience is not shown by years but by quality and support and reviews of the customers.
Indeed, officially it should be 3 years. Apologies for that confused myself. However doubt it matters that much here, it doesnt change anything whether the code is 3yearsHosting or 4yearsHosting.
