There has been quite some good discussion in this thread. Phew, it's been forever since I even posted here. I am learning a lot from this thread though, and that's awesome. Keep up the spirited discussions.

Hey guys, I'm updating this thread finally, haha, with some new real cars for you to enjoy! I've done a bunch more, however this is what I'm putting up for now. I've got a 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo, a 2006 Porsche Cayman S, and a 2005 Dodge Viper, so go shred some tires!

Mustang the Fourth...
yodman
S3 licensed
So, I offer to you all a fourth installment in my Mustang Series...the 2003 Cobra Mustang! Sound, setup, and two tweaks are included. One just has a bigger supercharger (I used a turbo, so it's technically wrong, but I like the sense of power coming on) Power and torque are spot on, though the revs for torque are about 700 too high, and it weights 400 lbs less that it should, but 0-60mph and 1/4 mile times are right on, with the exception of a tenth or two.

1/4 mile: 12.8 @ 115-120mph
0-60mph: 4.5 seconds

Enjoy

Excuse the double post, but I had to draw some attention didn't I? Hehe, well, I finished up a 2002 Ford Mustang GT plus a Turbocharged version, so enjoy!

2004 Miata!

Ok, so I have another set rolling out here. 2004 Mazda Miata (NB, second generation) with the 1.8 RS engine. I also added in a Turbocharged version with 240 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque...haha a fun drive for me! I included my usual engine sound, tweak, and setup, so enjoy!

~Yod

PS: And for anyone who has complaints about my tweaks and such being slow...I am one of the people who enjoys realistic tweaks moreso than crazy tweaks...I like to make real cars, no matter how fast or how slow!

Second gen as in after 1998 I bet you mean. I'll hop right on it with the 1.8 RS version!

EDIT: Eleanor, check the Presets Section, it's done!

So here's the request for a BMW 335i (e92 style). Tweak, engine sound, and set-up included as per usual. It's 700 pounds underweight, so it's way too quick, but enjoy anyways!

~Yod

PS: I had to average the gear ratios for 1st and 2nd, so it bogs in first, but whatever...:P

Ok, so what you're getting here is the usual...an engine sound preset, a tweak, and a set. It is basically what it says. A '92 Mustang with a 5.4 liter V8 out of the 04-07 F-150. Weight I can't imagine being too far off, and I added 19" low profile wheels to go with it, so enjoy!

~Yod
Another one!

Wow, only a few hours and I have another tweak ready to go...another updated one I mean. No Sport Tuned version for this car tho. 1983 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds Cutlass. Enjoy that sound! Includes tweak, set, and engine sound.

~Yod

PS: I'm updating my Ford GT next!

EDIT: MY GT IS HERE! Haha, enjoy!

Double EDIT: One more for the record today, making 5 total tweaks! I made an antique car, a 1929 Lancia Dilambda...look it up!

Hey guys, I'm back again! I have two of my older presets updated now for V, so here they are. Unfortunately, I wished we hadn't lost the ability to adjust weight and gears, because that takes away from some of the changes you can make to really get the realism down, but I guess it won't be the biggest deal in the world...:P Ah well, so I've brought back my Mustang V6 and now I've re-engineered my 2003 Ford Escape as a 2006, because I just got one! I offered two tweaks with each car...one stock and one tuned. The Escape has a 5-speed manual FWD tweak and a 4-speed auto AWD tweak, plus an idea of what my escape may be like in the future...a V6 with a 5-speed and AWD. Offered two engines as well, the 3.0 V6 and 2.3 I-4. Also offered both sets. Beware, this little SUV is naturally high-centered! Enjoy!

See now, I'm not scared to drive in general, but just my car for now. I have a truck for the winter anyways, because I would NEVER drive my Mustang in the winter...I want to keep it nice for a long time! Just needs a solid wash, wax, and vacuum cleaning before final storage. But yeah I'm goign to keep driving, because I've got the pickup truck! Now that the whole issue has passed, I'm over it and I'm calm about driving again too. Thanks for all the helpful comments and stories, guys. Like I said, you'll be hearing from me soon enough!

~Yod

PS @ Speed Face: Yep I know what a Commodore is...I was in Australia last summer actually and I know a bit about Aussie cars in general.
A return to LFS, plus an adventure...

Hello fellow LFS'ers!

Ok, not like it's a huge bulletin, because it's not...haha If you all recall I now go by the name Pyro, not the old Yodman you were all used to. However, I've had a long absence from LFS as my steering wheel gave out back in June, so I gave up for the most part. I've since popped in once or twice a month maybe online on ym gamepad, but I've come here to return good news! I'm going to get a new wheel soon, which means a full-on return to LFS! You cna bet I'm looking at a G25 for an early Christmas gift from my aunt who will be up in November. So, basically around Thanksgiving time I should be back up and running with a wheel, shifter, adn finally 3 pedals! I can't wait! Like I said, it'd not a huge bulletin, but I thought I'd make a note for all of you who may recognize the name and wonder where it had gone!
Good luck to all you fellow real-car drivers out there too, because I just had a minor incident last night. Scared the crap out of me too, as well as my friends in the car with me. It had rained, so it was slick as ice out. We were coming back from a friend's house at about 10 pm or so, and everything was going fine. I was trying to amke good time
getting home so i wouldn't be late, so I took a couple shortcuts, however I wasn't driving like an arse. I was following the limits lol! So, moving on, I come up to a corner about 25 mph, like every other corner I had taken, and I enter, slow down to about 20, and then accelerate again to go straight. The car fishes out on me to the left, so I counter it, save it once, and then it kicks back around the opposite direction, and I go to counter again, NEVER THINKING TO HIT THE BRAKES (had I done so I would've saved myself no problem) and as I begin to counter, I'm already at the shoulder on the opposite side of the road and next thing I know, I'm off the road about 5 feet into tall grass. Thank God it wasn't a ditch, adn no one was hurt, and nor was the car, and nor was I going any faster, and nor did I flip the car! This was my first incident ever! I've been driving on my license for I believe 6 months now. Until now I haven't once had an incident, but for now I'm terrified to drive my car and I've already put it into storage for the winter because I'm so scared of it! (For all of you who may remember, I drive a 2004 Ford Mustang that's bright orange) Like I said though, no damage to the car, to us, or to any private property, so all is well. Yes, the car had been stuck, trust me I tried to get it out...My dad eventually brought his truck and pulled me out... Haha, sorry to write a novel, but I was in a writing mood just now...and now I shall head to bed! Good night all, and be careful driving out there!

I second this idea all the way! Check it out guys...I alredy have 3 tweaks up there, with sets, and I plan on having about 6 up there by the end of tonight...it takes all of 30 seconds to put one up there! Happy searching guys!

3 New Presets

Hey guys...here are 3 basic tweaks I threw together in a matter of minutes. I actually like them, and I hope you do too! The XF GTi has transformed into a lightweight version of a Subaru WRX STi, with a 2.0 liter turbo flat-4 , all-wheel drive, a 5-speed, and 276 hp! The XR GT is a basic road car, more of a modest sedan of the late 80s I guess. It has a 4.0 liter naturally-aspirated straight-6 with 205 hp, rear-wheel drive, and a 4-speed. The XR GT Turbo is now a nasty, balls-out GT coupe with a 5.4 liter V8 (with a V5 for sound), 549 hp, a front-mounted engine, rear-wheel drive, and a 6-speed!

Have Fun!!!

Did you mean for the SLR to be based on the XRGT Turbo? 'cause the .set included was for the XRGT, but the .twk is based on the Turbo.

The tweak is supposed to be for the XR GT...the non-turbo one...I just realized what I did...I accidentally saved it as the Esprit Turbo, and I lost the SLR, so I'll have to re-do it later...Lol sorry! But don't worry because I'll have it up hopefully by tomorrow! Oh and I also did another one yesterday...a 2003 Ford Escape V6...3.0 liter DOHC V6 with 201 hp and AWD...nice little SUV for rally-x, though it is a bit tippy...feel free to adjust the engine position down a touch! Enjoy!

EDIT: I have your SLR McLaren re-finished...so here it is!

Seeing as you offered, how about a Trabant, a Lotus Esprit Turbo and a Mercedes Mclaren SLR. what do ya reckon?

Guess what? I have them done already! I chose the Trabant 1.1...Yes, I realize they're all slow cars, those Trabants...I chose a 1993 Lotus Esprit Turbo S4, the 265 hp 2.2 liter turbo 4-banger, and the SLR McLaren from 2005 with its 5.4 liter supercharged V8 and 617 hp!

As per usual, Ihave included both tweaks and sets for them...feel free to modify my setups as I know they aren't up to par with some people's setup skills...Please enjoy!

Hmm...a Trabant, eh? Shouldn't be too bad, even though I don't truly know the car...The Esprit Turbo is a good choice, and an SLR? Sweet stuff...I'll see what I can whip up in the next couple hours!

Just got this system for Christmas...it's SOO much nicer than my old system!

HP Pavilion a1250n
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+
1.99 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM
nVidia 7800 GT OC by BFG Technologies

On average I manage 150-175 FPS...I use 16x AF, but no AA...looks nice enough at 1280x1024!

Hey guys! Well, I'm really happy that this came back to life! I've already put together 2 tweaks and I plan to put another one together before the night is out! The two I have are a car and a truck. The car is a 2004 Ford Mustang V6, with an included skin. It's a 3.8 V6 with 193 hp and a 5 speed manual...It's the car I own! The truck is a 1997 Ford F-250 with a 4.6 V8 with 220 hp and a 4-speed transmission. (Yes, I checked it's spcifications...I like realism) It's a little fast for it's weight, but it's nice and high...slap on some oversize tires and go offroading! Feel free to turn on 4WD, as my truck has the 4WD option!

As I always used to do, I've included a setup and a tweak, and both are for the GTT. I have also included a color setting and skin I put together a while ago for the Mustang tweak. Simple, but gets the job done! Enjoy the toys!

EDIT: Now, like I said, I'm adding one more here tonight...I just finished it up! It's a 1983 Hurst/Oldsmobile Cutlass, with a 5.0 liter 'hi-performance' V8 with 180 hp...It's a rear-drive musclecar for the '80s! Hope you like it! I gotta go get the real oe out of grandma's garage this year! Again both a set and tweak are included...Enjoy

By the way guys, feel free to request some tweaks from me, as I'll be glad to do them as I have time!

How about an '04 Mustang in Competition Orange? Probably would look best at SO Classic in the little brick chicane area. Good luck!
