Thanks for the advice guys. I'm making the mistake of going into corners too fast so I will work on my cornering technique.

The old saying less haste, more speed really rings true.
How can I make cars go faster?

Quite often when I'm driving along the straights of circuits completely flat out I've noticed people driving the same car are faster than me and easily overtake.

Can someone explain why this is so? I've tried using different setups but I'm still slower.

Dear LFS community,

I would like tell you how I've utilised LFS to fundraise for charity.

In a sponsorship event called Race Against Time '06, I am driving 5000 virtual miles by mouse control to raise money for Parent Project UK Muscular Dystrophy (PPUK), a charity set up by parents of young boys with the muscle wasting disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) to find a cure for this devastating disease.

At the moment I'm almost half way through my Race Against Time and so far have raised a wonderful £3,108! You can keep track of my progress and read more about my fundraising efforts on my website at www.race-against-time.co.uk

Kind Regards,

Pegasus :heyjoe67_:heyjoe67_:heyjoe67_

p.s. I'm driving under the racing name RaceAgainstTime so look out for me.
Praise to team LFS, I've put your sim to good use!

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I would like to thank the developers of LFS for making such a great racing sim and for including the option of controlling the car by mouse because for many disabled gamers this is the only way we can control games.

Also, apart from the many hours of fun LFS has brought me, I have utilised the sim to good use by doing a sponsored event called Race Against Time '06, a virtual car drive of 5000 miles to raise money for the charity Parent Project UK Muscular Dystrophy.

Keep up the good work team LFS!
