I would like to see the AI cars after a race not slam on the brakes
and stop in the middle of the track.


How about a cool-down lap and maybe pitting?

Im not sure exactly if this is an improvement or fault fix.

When you race multiplayer mode (offline not on the net)
If you spin and reset your car.
The tyres lose their temp and all tyres are cold again.
This does not appear to be the case online.
