Hello,

It has been recently reported to us that there may have been cheating and/or hacking taking place during the recent Fragmasters events as well as during our SORL events. We've learned that one of our own members, SO•South, was using a third party program to eliminate clutch wear during a recent race with Fragmasters. We're currently investigating if this took place during SORL and will take corrective action if needed.

At Street Obsessions, integrity is one of our many core values. We believe in doing the right thing, and we hold our members to this same high standard. Unfortunately, South's behavior did not meet our standards. He will no longer continue his membership with the team and will no longer be permitted to participate in SORL.

Moving forward, we will be monitoring our events more closely for any cheating. We welcome the community to bring any reports or suspicions of cheating to our attention.

We're only half-way through the season

Update;

We're monitoring the attacks on the Master server, if the situation is the same as of Sunday, then the chances are that we will be suspending SO-RL until a time where the attacks have stopped.

We would rather have the community wait and hope on the day, it's an anxious waiting game for everyone, let's all hope that soon there is a solution to the problem.

TL;dr - We're considering suspending the season, full decision expected SUNDAY... No decision made yet.

In times like this we can only support LFS developers and not speculate the cause or who. I'd like to see you all this coming Wednesday, but lets wait and see.

In regards to the other issues, the ones we know of are being looked into as we speak, hence the delay in posting the results.

Regarding "lag" comments, yes there was some issues before the race server-side which were quickly addressed, however for the majority of racers it was not an issue.

By saying this, is not denial that lag could have played a factor. HOWEVER, we did everything we could have done to prevent lag being the issue, all other services we run were stopped after the second lag spike before qualifying and we saw no issues during that time.

I will not only check the replay provided to me by Huski, I will also check my own and other replays at specific time-stamps to see if lag did play a part.

I can assure you if lag did play a part in this that we will be raising this with our hosting provider as a support ticket so it does not happen again.

Please bear with us whilst we discuss internally all the issues discussed.
