After all these answers I think I changed my mind since the first post. All these years many racing games developed with tones of features. But I still race online with LFS and no other racing game have attracted me, although I try from time to time some of them. Means that all the development I REALLY need is already there. Speeding up the developmend would be ok but this could bring problems that all people here pointed out and I wasnt aware of (too many cooks etc). So I think Scawen knows what he is doing and I hope LFS continiues like it is and stays the best online racing simulation ever..

All these years I race online with LFS I found out two interesting things among others.
1. Very slow development. We have to wait for years and years till some interesting development will happend
2. The price of the LFS licence is very low. You pay only once and you drive for many years. Other games you have to pay every year to play online.

Although I like paying only once and race the next decade I would prefer to pay every year but I could see more development speed. I understund that doing that will reduce the number of the people that race online with LFS and that could be a problem. But if there was a small amount of money would not be a be a problem to the users and would be a great push to the developers so they could proceed with greater speed.

During LFS online racing I use all of the times the F9 button since I need to check the temperature of the tires and if they are dirt free so I know how much I can push to the limit. But pressing F9 I can not see how close is the driver before and after me. So I press F9 again and again and again so I can check both tyre temperature and other racers distance from me. This is distructing and is not easy to drive at the limit and also press F9. So I would sugest that pressing F9 does not hide the drivers names and distances. What do you think???

I would like to see 4x4 cars like jeep and landrover and some technical tracks specialy designed for them. I dont want to see american cars. Every kind of them. C.A.R.T. or nascar or topfuel or monstrtracks or every other kind.

There is no reason to wait since you will pay the same amount of money either way. If you buy S2 now you pay 24 and upgrate to S3 +12. If you wait for S3 you will pay 36.

Which are the ideal shift points? What is the best RPM to change gear? 19000? after 19000? 200000? Help. Before BMW f1 there was the red light. Now I dont know when to change gear..

I tried to brake the engine hiting high RPM. I couldnt. While on 7th gear and over 300 km/h I downshifted to 1st gear. The engine after that was still running. Maybe a bug?

I try to make a server for me and my friends to play. But my server is invisible to others. I wait for the others to come but they dont find it in the list. They tried join specific game but this is not workin either. I disable the firewall the problem remains so firewall is not the problem. I also did the port forwarding as described in the http://portforward.com but I am not sure I did it correctly
My router is Fritz!box fon. Help!!!!
