It's no good if you've blown your tyres at the end of a stint and you need to refuel aswell Was just practicing at the time anyway, but it could happen in a race.

Yeah I suppose it has something to do with the car bouncing, it doesn't seem to move back or forward at all.. Maybe my unusually high ride height setup helped too.

Yeah i'm still running win2k because XP is too blingy for me and each OS does exactly the same thing in the end. Vista itself is very unimpressive, although I may be lured into buying it for the box art. May never install it but I can admire that lovely box.
In the race mentioned at the start of this thread I could've (just) gone without needing a pit stop for petrol but the tyres wouldn't last the whole race anyway so I had to pit. So it just saves a few seconds in the pits by not having to put any more fuel in. Hardly evens it up.
