I just use the Gear Paddle on the oposite side to my gear stick for clutch. I take it you dont have paddle shifts + gear stick? Works well for me.

I personaly put my indicators on, pull out of racing line and tap the break lightly and repedativly as to be easily seen. That's pretty much what I do for every blue flag. To me it would seem annoying having a hardcore race then having some n00b / slower person / someone that started later stuck in front of you. Its no inconvienance to me to pull over, as I'm not going for 1st place etc. Funny thing is, only one person has said "Thanks" to me lol I do understand the official blue flag rules are differnat though.

Hmm yeah. So cheapest way would be to find a cheapo steering wheel.Or I could mount my joystick on the ground and use that hahaha.
I wish someone like logitech would just make a clutch addon that's USB or something.

I currently have a MOMO Racing Force Feedback wheel. And I currently use my right gear paddle for clutch and gear stick for gears. I was wondering is there a way I get an extra pedal? Or will I have to buy something like a G25.

I also have dissconection problems and I live in New Zealand. My servers look much the same as glenns. Usually overseads pings EG US are about 220ms ping not 500. Durring the day I can't connect to any servers at all, and if I can get in I'm in for like 2min. Some nights there is an Aus server that goes up ahh "Pro-racing room" i think. I can usually play on that as long as I want. Some other aussy servers I have problems with 50% of the time . I think its some net code issue with LFS? As I can play on servers all over the world with games like CSS perfect. I have also tried 2 differant ISPs, contacted ISPs about port blocking (none), tried 2 differant routers. I don't really know what to try next

That usually what happens with mods also. If there really good and people like it people will put up servers etc. But if they suck then people just ignor it and keep playing normaly.

I think just a track editor would be awsome. The cars I think we should leave up to the LFS Devs. I would love to make some fun tracks for myself to blat around on.

Always wanted to make a more hilly track, like the dip in Ashton (North / Histroic / Cadet). To me thats good fun to go down / up lol.

How come it says this problem is solved im still having problems? Inface I "Cant connect to master server" at the moment, so I can't have a game.

Thanks for your email. Ihug does not currently practice any port blocking, and the only throttling or rate restriction we do is limiting a customer to 64kbps when they go over their monthly data allowance.

I'v got a "MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel" and I just left it all on default ATM in Windows, everythings on 100% seems fine to me :P

Wheel Turn - 90
Wheel turn comp - 1.0
Force Strength - 63

Confuses me someone people are so dedicated an love game that much, but still play demo.

Wouldn't the port being blocked meaning we can't connect at all? Not play fine for 5 - 15 min then get D/Cd ?

Yeah on CSS etc US servers usually 200 - 250 ping same if you ping to google.com etc.

I am also having same problems I can bearly play on any servers. Kind of sucks since I bought LFS to play online also with my new wheel but I can't stay in servers for 5 - 15min. The bars down the bottom left (Net graph?), one of them would rise untill it his top then I would get D/Cd. I would also get errors like "Can't get track info" etc and I would try again and i will be like "Can't get guest info" then I would try once more and I would get in for 15min or so. Really frustrating.

I hope someone cause sort out the problem as judging by this thread its a big one.
