Fantastic to see this going ahead, thanks again fonnybone, also for mekanik.

Although i can't seem to make the mekanik-style physics crashing 750kph+ cars with this..probably because of it not supposting the formula cars, also driving around with balloon wheels is a total crackup

Oh well, i do have one sorta question, is there any way to determine the powercurve a given car will output with the raw figures from ingame/lfstweak?

I know its a kind of involved question, but just wondering if there is a fixed relationship within lfs of all the figures.

tl;dr for the most part, but anyway, for lfs to simulate racing as close as possible, engine tweaking / tuning should definitely be a part of it.

NOS would be an ok idea, but as im sure its been said at least once in this thread, most people asking for it are probably just asking for a hyperspace button illepall, in which case they should be messing mekanik for the time being.

also, certain cars, down the line in production of lfs, should probably have more configurable bodies, akin to the wing angles of some of the cars in s2, but also the undercarriage of say nascars (flamebait i know).

heh yeah, the only place ive been able to hit >700kph is on the drag strip with the formula v8 wth a little tweaking here and there to help with straight line speed..

half the time when it kicks into 4th or 5th gear the power boost is too much and the wheels just pop

also, I find turning the time2rev thing (which im guessing is actually the spool time)
off (ie. to 0) is actually required or else when it finally gives that little boost of power the tires have zero survival rate

looking forward to lfstweak2 when the lfs team grace us with the final sometime in the future.

haha, this is incredible fun while not trying to get pb's down.

also, i figured it'd be flamebait if i posted this is bugs, since its not really, but has anyone else noticed that 750kph seems to be the fastest that the game engins can handle before wierd stuff happens, like falling through the track or being fired into the air for no apparent reason?
