I thought it was you but wasn't quite sure mr Angel, is why I said hello.
I was with a group of other Marshals so couldn't really stop. I finally found Tristan and he told me that you had been called away. I watched Tristan race from race control and it was good to see a sim racer in a real car, though a little odd for some reason. The practice and qually sessions were wet and the race itself was dry which must have made things a little difficult.
A good day overall though.
I will be there Monday morning, marshal sign on is between 7:00 and 8:00.
If I have time I'll pop over to say hello before I have to be on post.
By the way, my 16 year old niece will be doing her first day as a paddock marshal.
If you see someone who looks like this at Castle Combe, it's probably me. It's possible I might be asleep because I'm at the BTCC meeting at Thruxton the day before
I won't know where I'll be until sign-on just before 8:00 am.
What nuber is your car? I will try to make myself known to you, maybe wave a blue flag at you
The blanks number to fill in depends on the PC you need to forward to.
For example, my server is 192.168.1.101 or 192.168.1.102 depending on which PC I am using to host.
You will have to find out what your number should be.
Open a command prompt and type ipconfig and hit enter, (on the host PC) you will get a list of numbers including the IP address you require.
I have a Server available if it's needed. I have posted some info on the Euro Racing Group forum which has spawned some interest.
Will there be a different server for each class?
OK I give up, I have searched everywhere and I can't find out how to display the framerate, can someone please tell me how to do it, I'm either blind or mad.
I can't find a previous mention of this, but it's very minor.
When I run a dedicated server, I would like to be able to chat to the drivers on the server using the server window. So that I can let them know if I have to reset the server or that I am shutting down for a while to reset something.
Or Just to let my friends know that I will be joining them in 10 minutes
I get that from time to time, it's usually because I booted PCs in the wrong order so the server IP (local) is 192.168.1.100 instead of 101 therefore the ports are forwarded to the wrong PC.
