well im using 7.9 on my AGP X800XT PE which i think is from the family of the 9800 (i think) im having no problems with it at all i even find it runs better then the 7.8 drivers.

i also play ETQW but only on medium settings still no troubles as of yet.

My system:
AMD3000+ (OC-1.98ghz)
2gig ddr run in dual mode
X800XT PE 256mb DDR3
A8V motherboard

pretty old machine too i am upgrading to intel quad at end of the yr

Hi welcome to programing, heres a site ive been using ive found it to describe lots about C#, ive only just began my programing, ( 4 weeks now) and i started out with C++ found it not as easy as C# so i changed now, im also not that great at doing all this still learning, ive found learning from my mistakes shows me the places i have to watch, ive only made a few simple apps atm one is a pictureviewer which is easy now i know how it works.

hi guys didnt want to make another thread so ill post here,

ive just started to learn C,C++ and C# im starting to get more confident in programing now, and starting to understand where ive made mistakes altho im not to the advanced stages yet, i feel like a challenge so i thought idd try somthing a little differant to what the books teach you, i was wondering if there was anything in lfs i could try that was just small and would give me an understanding in how apps work with insim 4.

as i said just started out and loving it but need a challange, nothing too hard just somthing easy, thanks for any help and thanks for getting me into programing as ive been following some of the topics arround here and thought idd try some of you are really good but i spose it all comes with time i cant wait till i write me first programe for lfs just dont know what to write ?

you could use the sound editor in lfs to make it higher and lower, shift+a i think are the buttons to get into it. although i dont know why you would want to change it the pack the devs just put in is great, i just turn up the tubo noise if needed.

also i think there is a thread arround somewhere with sounds packs.
anyways you can add your own sounds to it aswell but remember your the only one who hears it no one else will .

what dose it do and how dose it work?
do i have to add names or will each user that qualifys get put there.

also ive found that the !help and all the functions dont work, the server we are using is on xp 32bit and im on vista 64bit, dose that matter?

hi guys, got a question

would there be a way to get LUAlfs to pick up a file from lfslapper or if not could LUAlfs record top lap times, EG: i want to run a comp, but i want the drivers top be able to drive faster then the time for each track in the comps, so when they can drive the track at required times they are then enterd into the file for the race.

i know it sounds hard or may be confusing, basicly any driver that joins the comp must pass a qualify of a lap time first and then they can enter the race. if you get what i mean.

also how could i use ISP_LAP, // 24 - info : lap time to record times sorry as said in a previous post im not even close to a programer and i wouldnt have a clue what to do other then what i read so everything you write i belive lol.

anyways any help i could get or anywhere i can find more info will be great.

EDIT: ok now i can see it wouldnt work within LUAlfs because how could someone join the race if there name isnt on the list so ill have to still stick to lapper till i can figure out how to save usernames and send them to LUAlfs, ill get there soon enough i spose.
