I remember Jeoff Crammonds' GP. Great game, and all created without using a 3d engine. Impressive.

As for this hack, I had the most horrid racing earlier becuase of it; as indeed did those racing.
Having a server for hacks is no excuse to use them. As mentioned, as seen, those hacks will transport and disease all other servers.
Glad to hear the devs have it. Let's hope they close the hole asap.

race name 'The Great Goatsby', other racer confirmed player goatse. But MPR shows from lap 1-5 , and replaced with 'Fusion.Dan' from 6-10.

I can confirm this happened. I even have the replay.
This Goatse player impersonated Dan, and wanted ppl to believe it was him too.

The only problem with that post was the title; it's use of the word 'review'.
The word review to many implies an evaluation from some authority/professional/resepcted entity, and conclusively allows the reader to use it's content to arrive at a decision.
One would expect the author to be objecive, constructive, analytical, methodical and professional in his/her approach of a project to be published.
If Mr Sham had just stated initially that it is his opinion, then fine. Although later in his replies, that's what he does.

i have a 5yr old son.
he loves it.. even better, he loves watching me race.

If LFS simulated a real-life track, a person could practice on-line. They could then go to that track (first time) and be confident in getting a good time.
This said, although there are inherent differences between a game and life. The similarities and what LFS has to offer are close.

I'm not brand new (been away for few months), though I am probably rusty. And in the grand scheme of LFS I could well be labled as 'one in need of help'
Anyway, I'm a fair racer. I'm at work so I can't check, but I presume your server would be called GURU?
I havn't been in a team before, just always jumped into servers and had fun. This team sounds good for me.
I be on as soon as work finishes to rip some virtual tarmac (only installed patch before work).
