I agree on both. I think with new styles of racing more parts and more cars LFS would begin to dominate the market.

I opt for more realistic crash physics instead of the tin can like effects you get now.

I am having a problem with the button reduction rate, I have it on the lowest setting possible and I still cant get a gradual start in the high power cars, does it make a difference if I use left or right click for throttle? I am using right for throttle and left for brakes, just like a real car, and still cant drive anything that has some power behind it without spinning out of control, the only way I can get most cars going is double clicking a bunch of time untill it speeds up.

This is very annoying and I cant enjoy all of the cars, I dont have the money for a FF wheel yet and this is all I have.

I would like to see some Honda, Toyota, Mazda Nissan and acura cars for track racing.

I do agree, it is ahead now, but in 2 years? I like this game alot next to grand turismo 4, this is why I bought it, so yes its ahead of pretty much anything now, but in 2 years? and with the advancement in graphics technology from its competition it hopefully will get a makeover for S3

Anyway, I guess all I'm trying to expess is how worried I am for this games future, I would definetly like to see it move a step ahead and become the next best thing.

No seriously, as LFS only has one coder, the development is understandably slow, so I wouldn't expect S3 this year. Maybe next year or even 2008 are way more realistic estimates but in the end, only time will tell.

That said, my main concern would be if LFS would be able to compete with the latest graphic engines at that time. 2008 feels like a decade away when it comes to PC technology. yet its just around the corner. the advancment in PC technology will be way beyond what the engine is made on now. might as well give the game a complete over haul.

Ahh, ok thanks for the heads up, how long do you think it will be for the full? I know when I first tried the demo the S2 alpha version was out already, this was a few months ago, closer to a year actually.

Hi, I am new to this game, I have been playing the demo for a few months now and thought it would be time to get the full version, I really hope that soon the S3 version will be available and the add car option will be there too seeing as there is not alot to choose from.

I'd like to see this sort of game become as big if not bigger than the grand turismo series. personally I dislike console games, not sure why, maybe because I am a real hardcore PC fanatic or the fact that I can only play off an LCD monitor becuase of my astigmitism..sp?, either way this game seems like its going for the gold, lets hope it does.

A little about me.

I live in Ontario Canada, 23 years of age and own 2 civics, my real life car experience is with rebuilding honda motors, its my hobby pretty much, I have built many engines and have done countless swaps and turbo installs.

Hope to see some of you online while racing.
