I don't see why we HAVE to take every piece of crap that gets thrown at us. You use our system or you don't use our system, but I feel almost violated when you use our own system to take a dump on us. If you think that's okay, then you don't belong on our system because I don't want you there and that's the only reason needed.
the problem isnt lfs physics but damage modeling. in real life the car would have been broken beyond any drivability. suspension etc would have been broken rather than bent and engine/fuel/aspiration would have been disrupted. lfs doesn't model totaled cars yet and so its possible to capture these bizarre behaviours, but within normal parameters, lfs physics are king.
you'll do fine! patience is key and there's a lot to learn. you've got a wheel, you're in a new car, and in fairness you're trying to place against some solid drivers, looking at the list of others you've raced with so far.
9 races, but you've not placed very highly yet. My recommendation is to keep racing, and the wins will come, the faster lap times will develop (also worth points, if fast enough) and the points will flow in
I don't play guitar.. But I have one.. Make me a violin . hehe.
When I'm not playing LFS, i'm usually ripping something apart and building it again. I'm boring
