well I only have a usb mouse plugged in and still nothing after reboot after unplug, every other usb device works ok, wheel worked perfectly the day before. I'd say it was something wrong with the actual product. Matrixi that is the same noise my wheel made when turning it, im sure on the box it says its quiet or quieter, thats a bloomin joke
my g25 is dead, no power lights on shifter, windows doesnt recognise it's been attached to the pc. refund for me and buy a set of brd pedals like i should have bought in the 1st place. power supply works in my dfp so not a power supply problem, seems to be the wheel electronics that are screwed
my feedback ingames was very weak, then all of a sudden its more powerful, wheel now feels very like a formula force, something is up software wise. update: uninstalled again, deleted registry entries, removed logitech folders, restart pc, put in cd, reinstall software, stick in usb, doesnt do the found new hardware probe, software finds the wheel, doesnt ask for restart of pc, do one anyway, on restart comes up new hardware found logitech g25, stays for a few secs then another box pops up saying new hardware found driving force usb, what is goin on?, in game controllers its saying its a g25.
its fun at the start of a race and your hurtling down into turn 1 and you start braking and wonder why your not slowing down, doh, foots still on the clutch, ahhh watch out im coming through
mine never wanted a restart of windows after installing the logitech software, I also found that use the clear calibration tool from logitech allways comes up saying there is no calibration data saved and must have been deleted. I think a gaming software update is required as it also says my wheel is a driving force pro when installing the wheel then changes to g25.
mine is officially confirmed as complete,, g25 is definately on its way, only bit im not looking forward to is the noise of vans coming up and down the street all day and expecting every one to be the delivery guy. thats going to be hours of tortureillepall
gameplay uk recieved 10 g25's today and I was one of the 1st to pre order so mine is being picked and shipped today, now I gotta wait for it to arrive, will be up and down everytime I hear a van come down my street which there is hundreds of everyday
and by that time logitech will have sold out, I should have cancelled mine weeks ago, but allways gave it another chance as release was put back 2 weeks each time, and thought oh what if i cancel then they do get them in.
I just spoke to gameplay uk and they were surprised to hear others are now selling the wheel, they said they were to get them at sametime as other retailers, seems like logitech are picking who gets supplies. wonder if theres backhanders going down
I'll be boaking if mine isnt in my hands by next friday, by the time i'd get my money refunded from gameplay uk and cheque to clear, they'd be sold out everywhere that did get them, fingers crossed gameplay will have one for me.
a french website has them instock and delivered to customer on rsc forum, theyre going to be here shortly but the question now though is which retailers are going to recieve them? not every retailer will get them I'd say, just pray that theyre on ther way to gameplay uk
was checking some foriegn sites out and found one that listed g25 as being availble 17.01.2007, this is not looking good at all. now if they were shipped into europe in october as one logi guy says, why on earth would they be available 2-3 months later is baffling me.
I do mind waiting when a logitech employee posting in racesimcentral say they have been shipped to europe, yet im hearing that we'll be lucky to see them in 2007, someone at logitech needs a kick up the backside.
yep, if we're lucky, I'd rather get a realistic date and then know it will be ther, but they change it every bloody week and im eagerly anticipating it and then get pissed off that it wont be comin, my patience is waring very thin, gonna end up not buying it. feckin bunch of useless wan88rs
