Quote from Giant Robot :I got to test out the Logitech G25 today at E3. Its actually pretty well built overall, the only thing i didnt like was the shifter (more on this)

Best thing about this set is the wheel. 11 inches is PERFECT for racing games. Real leather wrapped wheel feels really nice. Paddle shifters are big enough and more realistic than most wheels out there now. I cant comment much on the Force Feedback because i played 2 different games (rFactor and GTR) that were pre-set with force feedback settings. I agree, 2 buttons isnt enough.

Pedals felt great IMO, ALOT better than the DFP. Pedal positioning actually felt comfortable. Heel-Toe was done confortably and easy. Could use a dead pedal just like any other 3 pedal setup out there.

One thing i disliked however was the 6 speed/sequential shifter. Its a great addition thats its a 2 in 1 combo, but the shifter is "weightless" and does not return back to position. Everything else was of high quality, the shifter however didnt feel up to par.

Quote from Goo :The pedals use standard metal "can" pots and are designed such that the pots should last a significant amount of time. There is no easy way (you'd have to REALLY abuse them) to drive the pedals past their maximum range, and the frames are designed such that there should be no lateral movement to pull the wipers up and cause spikes. The designs of our other pedals were studied very closely and improved upon significantly.

I don't have authorization to release the official limited edition number yet, but I can assure you that it will be possible to obtain this wheel if you're interested in it. We are not talking about hundreds of units or a few weeks of availability.

Glad you liked the wheel. The shifter spring is something I wish could be improved further as well, but for this particular product our spring size options are limited by mechanical constraints. There just isn't room in the mechanism for a heavier spring. If you end up at E3 again tomorrow, look for the tall bald ugly guy with the ridiculous goatee.

I wish you sweet wet dreams about it guys and girls

I definetely start saving for it, some people don't care about price as long as product is worth it and it looks like it will be. I like my DFP but there are some cons, and Logitech haven't got anything better that could please more demanding people. I just hope it will also support PS3, would be shame if GT5 wouldn't work with this babe :P 100% worth the money, whats bother me is that limited edition it could be hard to get it, maybe they don't except that many people will bought it, and i think many fans of console and pc racing will be interested - its very good deal h-shifter, good wheel, clutch....

Can you post specs of your comp ? What other drivers you have, are they newest ones ?

I'll use this topic to ask one question. I have problem with DFP, i feel slight delay on my wheel between what i do and how fast that appear on screen.
So the question is what can be a reason or that any other owner of DFP have something like this. I can say its not only in LFS, but also in other games. I have nforce 2 mainbord A7N8X Deluxe 1.4, GF6600 GT, newest drivers for everything - mobo, graphic, directx and logitech 4.60.

Could this be fault of wheel or software problem ? I think its not issue with my pc, as on GT4 was the same. I catch myself i started to playing on mouse, because my wheel piss me off, its almost impossible to counter steer or drift no matter how fast i turn me wheel and how i lower degrees of turn.

Thanks for info, i know guru3d but i have only used omega on my old radeon 9100, but for geforce omega got only some old drivers. I should try these Z-Tweaked one. Now i'm more happy with GF6600 as ATI Tool is now working with geforce cards :P

Maybe thats not most important but your card works in agp 4x, this is odd as i think your card should be agp 8x, does you mainboard have agp 8x ?
I also look at your mainboard bios date, its quite old so maybe you can upgrade it to something newer, sometimes this help, sometimes not but its maybe 30 minutes of work.

PS. If you have the money i recommend to you Galaxy Geforce 6600 (GE) on AGP, this is shortcut for Galaxy Edition or Gamer Edition, anyway its gf6600 with ddr3 mem so after all its like GT and whats best its cheaper then it, and even stock overclocks lot better then friend Leadtek GF6600 GT with 256 mb ddr3 (i think he have slower mem on that then mine). Its very good deal and if you can find it, i highly recommend it as its even faster then some GT models.

Realy i would go only for Logitech Driving Force Pro, yes it got small issues but when you try it, you won't be able to drive on anything else. Just because i haven't seen second wheel on market like this (with 900 degrees of turn). Every other wheel have maybe max 270 degrees, and i promise you that after trying DFP, there won't be coming back to some crap. Sometimes you will be thinkin thats its too much, but having too much is better then having not enough....
