Yeah thats my only gripe too with rfactor is multiplayer, people are on but like you say so many tracks and mods, but now and again i hook up in a HistorX server and damn what a blast....
The other thing i dont get is that most peeps race in the megane cup and to me that is missing the point of rfactor, stiff naff cars what dont sound all that and are skitish... another mans crap is another mans gold me thinks.
Not how the car handles but how the road and and steering feels in my hand.
Done a search but i get the same old same old proflier settings like set overall strength to 101-107.
But i want to feel bumps and lumps like i do in rfactor and the wheel vibrate slightly when reving the nuts off the motor and braking hard.
Is there anyway i can get more emotion out of the G25 in lfs.
Cheers peeps for the help, come down to how i'm steering out of the drift.
Now flicking car more and less opposite lock and at the exit of the drift i try now and keep the wheels straight.
More PSI in front did help so many thanks.
Thats the thing here.... in real life i use to have a 323i bmw, with this i use to flick the rear end out and then just keep full revs and control it with steering. but with lfs it's a new ball game to me and not like my old car lol.
But now i have a few hours spare i will try some of the above posts and let ya know what happend....
Whats the best way to reduce tank slappin after coming out of a drift. i would like to keep a high steering lock as i dont like to turn my wheel 15 zillion times to just get round a bend.
What else can i adjust to reduce this.
Damn pain to pull a nice drift and then to throw it all away by the car flicking the other way so quick.
Rfactor feels the most attached to the road to me, like the BMW 320 E21 mod..... just amazing the way it feels with the G25 at outon park.
LFS just feels to loose on the track, i dont feel in real control or feel the limit untill i see the car start to slide but Rfactor gives me great feedback like i can almost feel the tyres shifting around under the car.
Like the starting topic with the caterhams on Rfactor, it feels real and i get goose bumps in the tuned ones because even flat out down a straight you feel evevations in the road that makes you lift off the throttle or you just might lose the arse end lol, i dont get that with LFS.
Maybe its how i have got LFS setup not sure but im open ears and eyes to make it feel like a real car with the G25, thought i did at one point such a shame.
When i up the FFB it's too hard and needs alot from my arms to drive round bends lol, before you say get some arm power im 6ft tall and 15 stone.
Yes upping the FFB does reduce the slack in a straight line but now feels unatural to drive and the wheel pulls from side to side, oscillating i should say.
Now i have tried to remove this by unchecking the centering sping and still oscillates.
Removed deadzones so the setting is on zero, also you have FFB in logitech profiler and in game?? surley one should be unenabled and the other made live, do they conflict.
I Have the force feedback and it pulls nice round corners but when going down a straight it feels so weak... no tension in the wheel atall.
Feels light like if the wheel isn't plugged into the power supply.
Now is this how the G25 is or am i missing something.
I want some good tension while going in a straight line.
Done a search but all it comes up with is FFB settings.
Thank you if you can help.
You yanks crack me up, bloody blow off valve over here in the uk we call them waste gates, also to release back pressure in the turbos we use dump valves what is a single loud hiss. wastes gates are the chirping sound.
