so... wait a minute...

after 56 years of demo you finally received a S2 license FOR FREE.

And after a month you start a thread that LFS is boring.

Excellent

And when exactly did that happened

Yeah, new account.

And I think I'm sticking with this one. You are better off with a demo account here.

Or maybe just a fresh one every week!

If you don't use the PM function here, it all doesn't really matter.

Back in my young days I would put this forum upside down yeah. You are better of here with a demo account and a proxified IP address and a fresh Hotmail account then with a S2/S1 membership.

Kinda silly.

Will think about that later when I, deliberately , going to step on someones toes.

Made so easy now.

Yes an IPS panel is worth the investment, especially the Dell one is very good and praised everywhere. IPS panels are more expensive then the usual stuff but it pays itself back in excellent color accuracy and 180 degrees viewing angles without any loss of quality.

I did what I suggested here to do for myself; http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=1649317#post1649317

And have no complains. Maybe in the end it might have been nicer to order a Full HD and a bigger screen but... Hmm.. Can always do that later and use the LG as television screen because of the HDMI input

I also have a SSD for more then two years now. Another very good investment. Believe me, once you have one, you never look back and wondered why you didn't buy it earlier. It stays cool, no noise and no sudden death because of mechnical parts. At the time I selected an Intel SSD (160 Gb) and it still runs like a charm. Every application starts almost instantly and booting / restarting Windows 7 takes only a few seconds.

It seems not important but trust me, it actually is. All that waiting on a slow harddisk is really annoying and in my eyes is worse then for example a slow CPU. The most important factor is also not the disk transfer rate but the access and seek time which makes the big difference.

Quote from Victor :EQW replied that it's ok for prism to use the updated KY2.pth file.

I asked him yesterday to go to LFS forum to check this message yes. So he is still alive, well sort of

I know but it's not 3-1-3 there. But now I see the difference yes.

It's a 3) from another part of that statement. I initially thought this was just a default email body text but it's manually edited. Thats fine.

That wasn't my main issue though. It's being stated that you can login and read/reply which isn't the case. You cannot do anything and if I would have had an inactive email account I would have no idea what exactly happened.

I think a forum shouldn't behave like that. It's about the same as I would issue a 999 on the racing servers without informing the person why I did that and also keep my ears shut.

And there is another strange thing on the forum. If you get 'a red card' your PM box is reset to 150 messages max. Which is a problem when you already have 300+

Lack of communication is the problem here on LFS and it seems to be spread to various places.

But... Luckily there is the Flame

What happened to 2) by the way? 3-1-3 some hidden message?

Do not reply to this message via email; Eric will not receive your reply then.

No way!?

I won't go into further detail about the rest because that is not the topic here. Will create another one for that.

Tomorrow. Otherwise Eric might get overworked with managing things here.

Impressive activity!
