Quote from Kegetys :As I have a G25 now and momoleds doesn't work with it, I decided to release the source code in case someone wants to do something with it.

It's available here as MS Visual Studio 6 project... It needs the Windows DDK to compile.

Thanks for releasing the source.
I don't understand why logitech does not officialy support this with the new steering wheels. They could add some leds, and with the right sim/game that would be a great addition. In fact, thats actually a reason why i do not buy the G25 yet. (and the fact you have to screw/unscrew another device to the table the moment you want to play a racing sim/game)

After carefully opening the steering wheel i noticed that the transistor close to the diodes (where the motor cable is attached) gets VERY HOT (after the wheel starts moving very slowly to the left.)

It probably is fixable. But since i have warranty i am not going to try to repair the thing.

But i am 100% possitive that if the PCB is replaced altogether the wheel works again. But if i contact logitech and explain that this is the problem the warranty will be gone anyway cause i opened the steering wheel :P So i better not going to do that.

Anyway, I've contacted the shop where i bought the wheel, but so far no answer etc. Hopefully it doesn't take to long for them to replace the wheel.

Fact is that of all the wheels i looked at or tried myself the MOMO is still the best for a reasonable budget.
Oh nooooooo, damn Logitech MOMO

Hi all,

Today i recieved my full LFS License !!
Great, i already could not wait to play the full version after i ordered it. Ok, lets plugin the steering wheel, start the game and unlock....

Hey wait a minute, why aren't the leds lighted, and why doesn't it calibrate itself... hmm... restart pc... nope, other usb port... nope. other pc, NOPE!!

F*CK, thats the luck i have, just got the full licence and now my logitech MOMO is dead as a dodo.

Somebody had this before? Anything i can do to fix it? Currently windows doesn't even detect it anymore.... After turning the steering wheel it does however go VERY slowly to the left, after which it then just stops after a few degrees.

The Power adapter seems to be ok, still outputting 24V.

Guess i have to RMA the thing, but since that is going trough the online shop where i bought the damn thing it probably is going to take a while.

Damnit, it was almost new, rev.B and now i probably get a old crappy refurbisched and stinky steering wheel

Indeed, i always use winamp in background... with hotkeys enabled you can also skip a song etc.
Also, i think you have to pay royalties to use a mp3 decoder, waste of money imho.

Ok, thanks, i'll try that for the time being.

It would still be good to have it ingame through. Sometimes the game profiles seem to be removed when installing a new driver.

PS: Just payed the 35.23 Euro to moneybookers. Payment went smoother and quicker as i first thought! Can't wait to race the full version in the next few days

[Graphics] Antialiasing + Anisophic filtering settings

Hi all

I currently am playing on a oc'ed 6800GT at a resolution of 2048*1536 with Antialiasing forced to 4x and anisophic to 8x. (on a 22" iiyama monitor)

This way it looks absolutely great. Problem is however that when i force these settings in the drivers, this is fine for LFS but not for all other games. (to slow, or graphic corruption)

I don't know how much work it would be, but it would be great to have these 2 settings in the setup menu of LFS itself, this way the settings don't need to be forced through the driver anymore and everything is fine.

If you once seen the difference you never want to play again without those settings active

Anyway, keep up the great work

Hopefully i can order the full version in the next few days
