Well, I've just bought some new parts for my comp.

My rig:
Intel Core 2 QUAD
Asus Striker Extreme
2x250gb Samsung Sata2
Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 PC2-6400 2gb
nVidia 8800GTX 768mb
Power supply 630w

Well, I run with Vista 64-bit vers. due to my Core 2 QUAD processor.
Can I play LFS without any lag?

i think u have to download the latest software for the g25, also put he amount of FFB down a little, myself use 0 FFB.

u need to make ur carsetup a little bit more stiff, to loose springs and dampers makes the car less easy to drift. Lock the differential and try to adjust your gearbox so that u dont have to rev that much. The less the better due to turbopressure, it will not generate the same amount of power from 0-9000rpm.

Guys, IRL u cant decide how much smoke there should be while drifiting, amiright? Let it be a server opition, I promise that the ones putting up an raceserver wont use that function, only drifters.

U can still use smokemod if u want to gain smoke in the game, but keep in mind that ur fps will drop if u dont have a good computer.

The computer standard level is rising in the whole world, to bad that people who has the better computer has to wait for the others to do an upgrade and to help evolving new greater graphics on games by having better components.

LFS would be so much better with better graphics, I just love LFS as it is, but the graphics starts to feel a little 90's. But if the graphic improvments would take effect on the great simulator I dont think they should upgrade it.

Having 768mb in graphic memory, duo core, and 2gb in ram with sata 2 harddrives in raid 0 just dont have a meaning without games with good graphics..but the sad truth is, there are no good games with good graphics.

Personally I think it would be cooler with somekind of trademark in the game, or creating carmeetings on servers with drift showoffs and so on, like a real carshow. For example www.gatebil.no

Buying upgrades to your car on carmeetings or trademarks would be fun, like better suspension, new rims and tyres.
