I've just brushed the dust off my Logitech Driving Force Pro. Now I'm trying to get this to work with LFS again, but my pedals don't seem to work under any settings. No response under combined, under separate it will show both the brake and accelerator pushed down fully, and under buttons it once again doesn't give any response. Also, it was working when I was calibrating it in the Wingman Game Profiler setup.
I tried to pay w/ a master card, but this is the error I'm getting: Your payment was successfully authorised by the bank but the Protx Servers were unable to inform Live For Speed of this fact. Your payment will be automatically cancelled and your card will not be charged. This may be a temporary connectivity issue so please try your purchase again later by returning to the Live For Speed web site. If this problem persists please contact Live For Speed and e-mail [email protected] to make us aware of the issue.
Oh I see (my DFP arrives tomorrow.) So do you know any place that sells an H-Shifter? Preferably an H-Shifter w/ an extra pedal set.
Edit: Also, if you get a seperate USB pedal set, can it be used to replace the DFP pedal set on a PS2?
Yeah, I use Newegg a lot. I just used this new company this time because it was the cheapest; I was going to use Amazon, but it was more expensive by a dollar (I'm really cheap.) Also I noticed that this is in the wrong section. Can a mod move it to the hardware/wheels section?
I ordered a Driving Force Pro from Page Computers Saturday, June 17. It just got shipped out today, invoiced yesterday. Estimated arrival date is Wednesday, June 28. Now the funny thing is they promised a 1-2 day shipping period. Plus they didn't reply to any of my customer inquiries until AFTER the product was shipped. I received two replys today; the one I sent it later was answered first... Well I just wanted to say that this website isn't the most reliable. They did offer a 3 month extended warranty, and they were the cheapest (by $1)
Mmm... I'm still not liscensed, but I've run 6 laps and my best time out of them was a 1:49. My first lap was a 2:20. Do you think I'm heading in the right track?
Well, I've been using a keyboard to play since I haven't gotten my DFP. It's either that I'm a completely horrible driver, or it's just impossible to drive well with a keyboard. That's also why I"m still a demo racer . Well, thanks for looking. I'm still waiting for my DFP to be shipped out -_-. I ordered it 3 days ago, and it's still processing.
Edit: whoops, I must have been sleepy when I was posting this. It's 5:34 AM and I haven't gone to sleep yet. I meant to post this in a new thread.
I saw the movie yesterday, and I have to say, it was awesome. It was quite funny too because a bunch of wanna-be-street-racers started racing and trying to drift after the movie. I'm pretty sure at least one of them crashed.
I just ordered one, and I was wondering if LFS supports the 900 degree turning, or even if the driving force pro is able to connect properly to the pc. I know it has a USB and PS2, but I'm not sure it's supposed to be compatible with PC.
