What firewall are you using? Even when certain firewalls are disabled they still block things in the background (I've had similar problems with Comodo and ZoneAlarm)

You can download it in the downloads archive from the main LFS site. You can even get an earlier version than that!

It certainly looks and plays interesting, but it is very hard to drive at all and there's no tire flex. In fact, offroad, your tire goes through the dirt without flex. And it goes back to a point that I heard one of the LFS devs say at one point: What good are all your other simulated forces, suspension, and weight distribution simulations if you overlook the most important part of any sim: The tires?

I can see this being used here and there for quick (re: effortless) racing games, and the website mentions a few other games that use this engine, like Lada Racing Club 2 :twirl:

And I do believe there is a LOT of copyright and/or fair use violations going on in there: branded cars and blatantly stolen textures. Also their silverstone is whacked.

LFS could use a four-door saloon...BMW E39 M5

The shifter can be pressed down in gears 3 and 4 when in manual mode, and from neutral to reverse. The reason it can push down in 3rd and 4th is so that it registers as different buttons than 3rd and 4th gear in sequential shift mode (dual-layered buttons, if you will). When you switch to sequential shift mode on the shifter, you push the stick in and turn the knob, locking it into the pushed-in position and only shifting back and forth. When doing that, it registers as 1st and 2nd gear for some odd reason.

No problem whatsoever. It's just a (annoying) feature.

Here's my thoughts on the subject: Every single car I see in LFS is a 2-door or dedicated racing machine. it's fun, but I would really like to see a car that's similar in performance and appearance to a 1999 BMW 330i. Front-engine, RWD, 4-door, about 225 bhp. I dunno, call it the BH 300 GT or something? And of course have its 2-door Grand Touring equivalent similar to an M3 GTR?

If not, just any sedan in LFS would be fun. An SUV would be too. It is a simulator, after all. Shouldn't it show more diversity in its cars?
