I would tend to agree the problem is around 5 people, but it is really everyone. And yes including myself at times. Is when anytime someone get's a run on someone in a group of cars they think they have to pass so they try to force the issue. Maybe when theirs 5 laps to go then I would say yeah have a run go for it. But when your on lap 20 of 270 or whatever you might want to think about the passes you make. And when your not in the same TS channel as they people are you racing against they might not have an idea your there.
Seems like when we run the practice sessions everyone remembers the fact that they can back off when they get a run. But once it's race time its full throttle or nothing. When you are in that huge pack of cars chances are they are not going to get away. You will probably catch them the next corner when someone goes wide.
The other problem and it always has been a problem is restarts. Seems people want to jump them. Part of might be Deko being a little slow on getting the green flag in the air. But hes going to throw it once he knows the leader is going. But the other issue can be the leader trying to play games with the rest of the field by going the low line one time, high line the next, low to high to low, high to low. Telling the people in your channel your going now works good if your all in line 1st to whatever spot. But the people in the back on the field that then try to jump because they know when the leader is going just create a huge mess for everyone else.
Needless to say but all Deko can do is react to how WE are racing. If WE race like idiots he will treat us like idiots. If WE race like normal thinking people he will treat us like normal thinking people.
All I can do is think about myself. I have no idea what your going to do when your on the track. I have no idea what anyone else is going to do on the track. I just react to what happens in front of me.
Tell me where I drove like a complete tard. I will tell you the same thing I told Blueflame. State when and where. And if I did I will say I did. You have raced with me long enough oscar to know I will man up and say it if I did.
I'd rather crash out knowin I gave it my all unlike you you who didn't. I know I didn't leave anything on the table. I didn't win but had one of the top cars. I can live with that. I can't live by racing half assed. That's why I take responsibility for an accident if it's my fault.
Sowhat your saying is you don't know. And yes I can race cleanly with others I do it a lot. I think it's just you that has the problem. So unless you can show me what your talking about then it's your issue.
If you don't like how I race then don't race with me. But you want the respect then you have to earn it. Last time I checked this is called racing. And what I did today was race and race to win. If you don't race to win. I want nothing to do with you.
So show me the proof or shut up. I'll take whatever fault is mine. I've been like that my whole life. If its my fault I take blame. Today I didn't race that hard at all till the end.
Tell me what laps and time codes that I apparently did all this stuff. Was I fast yes. Did I put my car in gaps were there was a gap, yes. But only because I knew there was enough gap and it was the only place to go.
But you want to say I caused all those wrecks, give me laps and timecodes so I can go and watch them.
If I make a mistake I take responsibility for it, ask anyone that's raced with me before. And last time I checked it was called racing, not following the leader. When I get wrecked and go to the back I have to get back to the front. And the time I got a lap down I actually think it was you that caused me to wreck and get that lap down. Do I care no, I got my lap back and raced back up to the front.
as for your 2 you sure as hell didn't stay out of my way when I was by you, you seemed to follow me though a lot of that and race with me. As far wrecking in the end, that wasn't my fault, if you actually watch what happened. It was just a misjudgement by niko or whoever the other person was up there with us.
you said it yourself that time is prety shite for pole, but you got pole and that's what matters no need to take another run if you dont want to. It's not easy to run 96's it's such a fine line to run a 96 or faster. If it came off negative sorry. It was a good job. I was actually surprised to see more people running in the .96's.
gotta go big or go home, ive pulled my run in years past to just go faster..... deko likes to say its ego driven, well yes yes it is when I know i can do 94s and should be able to get some 93's in
That's because usually i'm on pole but because I was at road America yesterday I couldn't attend. But you could say 1st time someone has tied my track record for r2's.
