Just bumped into this whilst giving someone a link to Tweak UI. I don't know if anyone is using it but it looks like it could be very useful for texture editing, especially for people with older versions of PS without the browser.

Hmm I used this when LFS actually did have mostly RAW image formats for textures... but now it is all DDS (at least most of the important textures are).

So install both the RAW and DDS one, and it works a charm
