Sorry to interfere but how are his interests relevant to the discussion anyway? So what if he doesn't race the oval often. Does that mean he can't have and/or express his opinion about the matter? I didn't want to ignite a fire, guys, I was trying to put one out before it caught hold. It was just a case of knowing how big the gap between actuals and statistics, specifically in reference to a guy I know really well in real life, and who I race against every week.

There are lies, damn lies, and THEN there are statistics. I think the stats on LFSWorld are gob-smackingly comprehensive in the main, but wanted to point out that they're not even half of what makes the LFS community an awesome place to be. Please don't fight cuz of meeee!

well my english is not perfect, not even good but if you read what i posted you would see thats not the point im going for.

Narrow-mindedness is what i dont like and to make this clear once again did you ever read something about a Oval racer that spits on the Road Track Drivers that way? I mean everytime, everytime this senseless discussion comes up allways the same People (John not included so far) are there and wants to make everybody believe that the oval is just for noobs, you dont need any skills and the WR is beatable within 2 hours or less of practice. So most of these people surely did just a couple of races or not even a single lap so i do not understand their reasons.

And at the end i am the bad man because i stand for this and do not agree with these stupid arguments?

I'm not arguing with you on the Oval subject. I explained my situation on the thread that came up a while ago. But you are kidding yourself thinking you need to do thousands of laps to get quick. If you watch the WR replay and get the same set you can be up to speed within 100 laps. FACT.

Let's not go over that again. OK.

Like I said, you used and have used statistics in the past to try and judge character. I just suggest you don't do it again, or you could be made to look an idiot.

Well yeah its that easy, let others do the work and then do it better. Boring. Who said you need thousands of laps to get quick? On the Oval f.E. I have seen many people that got quick within hours and days and on the other hand there are people that need more time. I do understand that and i accept that as long as they know how to act and interact on the server its not a problem. And like i said lfsworld is a tool, a guideline or impression whatever to get quite an idea, a picture of that person not to say that statistic is true or complete which i know. I look at it, show it and want to see what else he may have done in order to underline his arguments.

i just realized that this thread went straight into the direction i tried to avoid but thats impossible.

Now maybe it was me with this comment:

But be realistic, you do something really serious, work your arse off to get faster and you have fun and then there are people with or without any clue that dont think thats possible and say all i have worked for was a joke, everybody can do in less time.

i really try but its not easy since it seems to me that there are more people on contra then on pro. I have to accept that and im learning everytime im in trouble like that. So back to topic, millbrook looks pretty good as well. I dont care which one is better, surely both got its good and bad sides.

Lets say theres a area with 1 oval, then some curcuits to test different (extreme) situations. And finally some areas to check the suspensions, tires and everything else you need to get a better feeling for your setup/car in order to get more out of it.

how about putting the autocross arena INSIDE nardo? linking them together would be nice, but only if scawen can get the open tracks fixed, and even then it shouldnt be too important

please read everything and do not just pick-up something here and there or overread. If im wrong with that im sorry but it seems to me i am right because i allready explained that i do know LFSWORLD is not something to go for but its something to get quite an idea...or maybe not (depends on how much someone is playing online/offline or clearing his pbs whatever). At least i checked it, showed it and then see what else can force the person to such senseless arguments. And, if youre serious on that last sentence, im surely not the cleanest racer but my goal is to be one of em.

one more thing, LFS is a game that can be used in so many different ways. Many times i just enjoyed the game itself by just cruising around with some mates here and there or just on my own. The game is really imrpressive and got alot of potential for the future and i think a area like this is a needed addon for those who dont just want to race and fight but enjoy the game itself and maybe learn while having fun.

anyway, i DO think it would be fun, albeit for 5 mins, although i must say in my n00bish-i-tried-sketchup-and-failed-to-make-a-cube skills with 3D moddeling that the track could just be repeated? i know how much Scavier like detail, but once you have the basic outline couldnt you just repeat parts? that way it wouldnt take too long (seeing as it wont be raced that much)

I dont know youre "skills" now but in the past, F08 time, it was you that crashed so many times and now you tell my im the wrecker? Thats ironic. LOL youre kidding me right? I was not even a member of FM these times. Youre young and maybe you do not understand that everybody that has a Server or is Admin need to take care for the people that want clean races and fights and flaming/blaming others while standing/blocking the track is surely a reason to remove you or any other person. I cant get this really because we gave you so many changes again and again but i can see you havend changed so there is nothing more to say about it.
