Looks good to me, as long as it's functional and useful. It's not ugly, it's just unusual and unfamiliar. People will get used to those and won't think they're ugly anymore.

They're banned already, so no need to get used to them.

ban F1 altogether and put the drivers in a tin top series without the huge budgets where it takes driver skill to win, not who can buy their ride with best team?

Please not tin tops where even the 'best' series are filled with drivers who just push each other out of the way. At least with open wheelers the drivers have to be clean or have an accident.

Yeah "safety" is a pretty weak-sauce excuse. A-pillars on your car have got to be way more vision-obstructing.
