Hey, I see an edit button for someone else's post, and I can actually click it. I can't do anything because I'm not a mod, but it's kinda weird.

I tried reloading the page, and it's still there

I see this too. All that has happened is that he has copied and pasted his post from another thread and accidentally copied the edit button too. If you click it, it won't actually work.

It is a link. At least it is here. Using firefox but tested it in IE too. But it just takes you to an acces denied kinda page.

Its in the thread in the "Unofficial Addons" section. Maybe you meant the one in the "Autocross Layouts" section. Its exactly the same post except the edit thing.

Guys he just accidentally copied and pasted the edit button into his post... it's not a bug. You can't actually use it or anything.

Yeah it's not a bug, it commonly happens if the user goes and copy/pastes any objects in the WYSIWYG Editor. For example, I just copied Josh's flag and name by highlighting it and pasting it here:

It depends on your editor settings (you can choose it in your options), and this is the advanced editor. And all you do is click this button in the Advanced section to toggle it on and off:

(switch to editor mode)

strange, now i get the same thing as everyone else with the edit button sitting there, and hte picture is just a link
