SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Quote :Nippy daily driver

DESCRIPTION:
Quote :Mod is available to the public for testing purposes. I will try my best to develop the mod further with suggestions from the community.

Mod originally created by annassilverto
Some parts created by Evolution_R

COVER SCREENSHOT:
my suggestions for fixes that will improve the mod:

1. cleaner 3d work

fixing all the holes in the model, cleaning up the mesh especially in the interior, could also just rebuild a brand new higher quality model, iirc you stated that you have some 3d-skils so this shouldn't be a problem, also make a lower poly lod2 for better performance. the current 3d work is really messy and poor.

2. fixing the hp/tq curve

seems that you have tried to make the mod have stock specs, peak power should be at about 1000rpm higher than now, and with torque about 200rpm higher. torque isn't the big problem here but better to fix it.

3. fixing weight + weight distribution

weight of the car is off by couple hundred kg's(its supposed to be about 1450-1500kg) again i assume you are trying to make the car have more or less stock specifications, the cars weight is more on the front: 53% on front and 47% on the rear. it would make more sense for the front to be lighter than it is now so we can get the 50/50 weight distribution. i can feel it be a bit too understeery.

4. driving feel

the car on corners is very slidey and hard to control even with super tyres and lower amount of pressure for better grip. also the huge amount of downforce is just very unrealistic and makes no sense to have it that much on an m3. my suggestion is to start over in making of the physics.
why downforce of a F1 car....
redline 8.5k please

1. I don't have enough 3D knowledge to build the model from scratch but I do intend on improving it and fixing all the holes and clean up the interior.

2. The reason the redline and torque were set lower by the original mod maker were because the HP is a tad higher than the real life variant but I will play around with it and try to get it as close to the real life variant as possible.

3. Again I think the original mod maker adjusted the weight so that the power to weight ratio matchest as close to real life. I will have a play around with that as well when I will play with the engine and see if I can find a better balance.

4. The car on the default setup is a bit slidey but with a bit of tuning it is one of the best handling cars right now. The reason I picked up working on this mod was the amazing handling it has and I think most of that is down to the downforce, also downforce helps it accelerate like the real like variant does. You can check out how the car acceclerates irl in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCAbJEnQl5s
8.5k redline?
Quote from Giedriune :8.5k redline?

From what I can tell in the video I linked above in my previous comment and what I have managed to gather from the internet the redline is at 8k rpm or 8.2k maximum.
thats why im asking more. btw many people using rev bouncer and 8k is unreal. stock redline is under 8.2k . can you just make it 8.5k please??
The vehicle is public but it is not on the list. Why do I think you have a problem with the rims? Install a rim under 4k tris and it will probably be fixed.
